ND at any price

One time, back when I was a cop, I stopped this crime ring that was boosting DVD players and car stereos. Long story short, I wound up JOINING the group family and traveling the world committing/stopping crimes. Then I had a kid and they stopped inviting me to the jobs. Kids ruin everything.

I see your point and I agree. The market is indeed down a bit for those on options, but I think there are more than you may realize.

The overall choices for the whole CUV/SUV segment are some of the most boring possible. It astounds me that not only do so many options in these segments look the same, but WHY in the utter hell are any actual real colors that are put on them just the most dull ass shades of blue or red or green possible? Maybe I want

Olds should have called this the Trofeo Partecipazione.

no rich entity (person or corporation) ever got rich by separating smart people from their money. They got rich by separating dumb people from their money.

Jalopnik had articles about it in October and November. And before that there was a failed run at a merger with Renault.

Miatas are usually second cars and are almost always a toy. I think lots of people don’t want to rely on an electric car as their only form of transportation, but if their toy, that they’re never going to be tempted to take on a road trip happens to have a super low overhead and never needs gas? That’s pretty cool.

Yeah, they said the same about slot car racing, too. But nobody’s forgotten the shocking end of the championship race back in ‘04. All those dead kids, man.

Tell me about it. I DD an MR2T so this article wasn’t exactly good news to me - especially after reviewing Kristen’s stellar review of the MR2T she drove a few years back. Something along the lines of “It felt just like the MR2 I drove but more raw and dangerous with a V8 back there” would have been the review that

Is there really no room in your imaginations for someone who doesn’t look like you to be centered, to have a story, to have a background that was interesting?

Counterpoint: Miatas are low volume and have less vehicles to spread development costs across on their unique platform. Mazda is not exactly swimming in cash. Miatas have no direct competition in the small RWD convertible department.

I’ve seen exactly one in the wild. It did not disappoint.

Immigrant cars doing the work that American cars refuse to do.

Wrong. That was the BEST car reveal for 2019. Why? Because it does such a successful job of hiding how the car actually looks:

I’m not convinced it’s just an advanced money laundering scheme.

Not true, for me at least, but star for the spit-take.

You know you can be a “car people” and think that building suburbs around car usage, driving a car downtown and removing catalytic converters to gain a few HP are all dumb ideas.

The little trunk bike? They should totally remake that as electric

Sweet Jesus, they’ve barely released any real detail on the ZX-25r and I want it. I know they’ve said nothing about a US release yet but that massive cat hanging underneath implies they had at least thought about worldwide sales. The CBR250RR is interesting but outside of the more advanced engine management suite I’m
