My favorite Odyssey recall (I’ve had 5) was the owner’s manual recall. I took my time on that one.

In the GTI you literally just unplug it. You have to dig around under the hood near the firewall.

Yeah, I think you’re reading too much into it.

Compare this to my GTI, which has a (disconnected) system to simulate louder engine noise for me, but no one outside would hear any difference.

My parents had a tan Dodge Omni with fake wood. They desperately needed a car after the RX2 got totaled and due to gas prices at the time there wasn’t much in the way of cheap cars on the lots.

My neighbor has a TL that the beak fell off of. Not an improvement, surprisingly.

Me too. But I lose them *while* I’m using them.

My brother had the airbags in his Civic replaced and then I had to bring it in a second time after I bought the car from him. That car’s had five airbags and none of them have deployed.

All hail the patron saint!

For that kind of money you’d think they’d straighten out the frunk carpet a little bit.

The Asian gong sound when they started talking about Toyota and Datsun was a nice touch.

I assumed Liberty University would come calling with an assistant AD job.

I listened to this a few months ago, probably following your link. It’s excellent.

They have a 10 year product development cycle.

The school can’t claim their $2.5 million investment is why they should get an extension. If they thought a 10 year exclusive deal wasn’t fair payment, they shouldn’t have signed the contract 10 years ago. Surely some parent at the school must have been a high-powered lawyer that could have negotiated a better deal.
