So if you don’t have to be somewhere very quickly, riding a bike is nearly just as fast (or faster in some cases) as public transport...Thus we shouldn’t put any money towards public transport because it’s clearly an inferior mode of travel =)

So even in cities with what I assume it good to great public transit travel by car is twice as fast.
