I think the cops do make a reasonable point that it’s very hard to use lethal force accurately on a moving subway car.

That looked like one of those disaster movie shots when you notice the people in the background who weren’t so lucky and given the way that force easily moved those concrete barriers aside, I dread to think about the ones who got caught up in it.

Yup, I’m very suspicious of “runaway” passenger vehicle.  Sure, could be many new tech features that change this strategy, but I’m not sure why a company would go out of their way to entirely lock out braking.
