This article made me think of something, I never ever see used lincoln navigators out and about, plenty of suburbans and escalades but rarely if ever a navigator more then 4 years old. I’m not sure if that is just a local thing but its like there is a Logans Run style recall on navigators that just purges them from

That word salad from Lincoln has got to be one of the most self-absorbed pieces of marketing bullshit I’ve ever read. I’m starting to think that auto manufacturers’ marketing copy writers all need to drop their cell phones and laptops into a bin, walk into the woods with nothing more than a sleeping bag and a water

There’s a new grille with an LED light bar that runs the width of the front fascia. Like most luxury vehicles now, Lincoln says this light bar does a sequential dance on approach, lighting from the center outward in a feature called Lincoln Embrace.

Most HPFPs are mounted on top of the engine or on the side of the cylinder head and driven by the camshaft. So yes it’s theoretically possible for fuel to leak into the engine. Ford’s old 6.4 diesel engines were notorious for leaking diesel fuel into the engine

Ice and snow aren’t always the biggest hazard to visibility in Michigan - a lot of the time salt is. Sure hope they’ve got a workaround for it building up on every surface!

The pic doesn’t look like it copied. Here’s a link

Water condensation and ice are pretty well understood in the automotive environment. For example, Mercedes uses a heater on their ADAS cameras (and has for years) — see the heater wires in the pic below:

Delete this story. That Youtube video is cancer.

So there you have it. A widely used engine technology may be the culprit behind millions of owner headaches. And with GDI use being so widespread across vehicle models and automakers, it doesn’t seem like something you can avoid, unless you buy an older car.

Why would you walk in front of the car after you’ve been arguing all day with someone?

What kind of car web site is this? No mention of the make and model of the car? There’s so much content here.

I can fix her!!

The one thing I note here is the total lack of shaded overhangs on the streets, even before he commented on it. And then Culdesac itself was made up almost entirely of mass-y materials that are going to hold that daytime heat and radiate it back out into the environs for a long time after the sun sets.

Well for one the architecture needs to be better. Where is all the shade? Props for at least painting the walls white and tinting the windows, but come on, no awnings? 12 foot windows shaded by 2 foot pergolas? Adirondack chairs in the open with no umbrellas? I suppose the trees might provide a good amount of shade

It’s just an apartment complex with limited parking nearby. Like an off-campus dorm, but more expensive.

Ignore cost-effectiveness? In these United States? Surely you jest! We’re cutting education funding in favor of for-profit schools because public education isn’t cost-effective! Ha! You fool! We will always shoot ourselves in the collective foot to preserve a profit margin!

Who’s brilliant idea was it to build a walking neighborhood in a city where people spend months waiting until after sundown to go outside?

Right, but L3 charging stations are so expensive, I think that even if what you’re predicting actually happens, it’s going to be a VERY long time.
