Take a bow.

The simple existence of Starbucks is a massive threat to the environment. Not a single part of the operation or customer interaction is anything but environmental disaster. What this guy adds is a few seconds of how the rest of company does damage the day.

Oh, no. For some people $50k isn’t that much.

Recall that the Sandy Hook shooter, who I won’t name here because he can continue to rot in hell, used the gun his mom bought for him.

Perhaps he tried, but his mom remodeled the basement so he can’t.

Looks like a failed brain transplant. Sometimes they don’t take. I think the donor was named Abbie Normal, or so the surgeon was informed.

The unpiloted self-driving tin can of that design reached ISS on a previous mission.

The incompatibility is NASA’s fault for not having a suit independently designed and used by both.

I think DEI initiatives have been, internally, about trying to get employees who might not otherwise have applied to decrease wage pressures. All that whining about “no one wants to work anymore” is more about “for these low wages.” Women and minorities have been used to relieve wage pressure by keeping wages lower.

Believing what I do of Japanese culture those scissors are razor sharp and can probably trim paper with just opening and closing the drawer they are stored in. I think an abundance of caution as the Japanese are culturally more attentive than typical TSA workers are. There is no realistic chance to get them on a plane

They stole money from HP. This would be like God smiting someone for stealing from Satan, except Satan would not do half the wrongs that HP has done.

Frankenstein was the drop out who wanted to be a doctor. The other main party to that story was the supposed monster, who “ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed.” but appears to otherwise have no name.

AFAIK the driver didn’t run.

It’s part of Derek Lowe’s series “Things I Won’t Work With” He has a bunch of others on biochemistry that are generally less terrifying but very informative.

Saw a nice experiment on putting out a magnesium fire with gasoline.

Faking a tornado is difficult. Arranging to sail into one that becomes available is less difficult. Paying several of the crew to have a man-overboard drill as the opportunity arises? Priceless.

In short, they stole money from HP? The company that will disable a printer so it won’t print in black ink if the cyan cartridge is out? The company that will disable a combination scanner/printer so it won’t scan if the cyan cartridge is out? The company that tries to use cryptographic controls and hides behind the

$60? This is suspiciously low.

Is it a crime to drive without insurance? Because one way that drivers get stuck with ridiculously high rates is to drive in an area where many drivers have zero insurance. Guess who, even in no-fault areas, really don’t want to pay for insurance - those who keep costing their insurance companies money and are either

Ever notice how Miss Universe is always won by a woman from Earth. Not saying there is bias in that decision; not saying there isn’t.
