I don’t want a full size bus running through my little warren of streets - not that I would really mind them constantly cutting corners across yards and blocking traffic, or even the occasional side swiping of parked vehicles. I would mind them hitting 45 mph and the squeal of brakes as they sway back and forth in

Pays the bills.

Bet they lose the blood test, if one was even taken.

Recall the woman officer who was killed and the two other, male officers, claimed they were playing with a gun and it just went off on accident? While one was supposed to be out on patrol?

Remember when a pickup truck bed was only a little higher than the bed of a station wagon and now they are similar in height to a sedan?

Always worth a mention, but Robert would never use store bought.

Ravnsborg called police within a couple of minutes of the crash and was not drunk.

Yup - planes have copilots to handle the in-cockpit operation while the pilot calls out what he wants done through that voice-activated copilot.

Some of us count the buttons so we know where we are without looking and, if a glance is required to get to an analog control, I need no further look to see what that control is doing relative to the fingers I am using.

Operate a touch screen without looking at it. Anything that isn’t set for an entire trip needs to have mechanical feedback to the person so they don’t have to take their eyes from the road to operate it.

I loved the little stick. Get followed by a high-beamer and just tap and it’s gone. When they finally go by, just push back up and it’s fine. Even the freaking electric is, select the which-side button, then feel around for the updownrightleft and then crawlcrawlcrawlcrawlcrawlcrawl.

The cops know they are creating a future arrest, the goal of the effort. The next time they pick him up for any reason, he has a record of a prior arrest with which to increase the severity of the charge. Maybe one more time and he won’t be employable in most jobs.

It has been implied that the first officer was more concerned about an unattended child and just noticed due to the pee break and that he was fired for not immediately arresting the child. The other four were disciplined by a round of high-fives and extra jelly donuts because they had obviously not instilled the

Most likely because they had to copy the software out of the system in order to reverse engineer it to figure out why it broke. Basically, like violating copyright on a book by opening and reading it.

It never recovered after Fleming left.

It can be far easier to use an adaptable worker than design an entire system to manage some complex task. This is particularly true at certain scales of manufacturing, which is why human assemblers still have jobs.

ROSHA has many complaints about that abuse.

I would rather have behavior detection software than this. The neighbor’s car was destroyed when a driver fell asleep and veered into the parked vehicle. Completely sober, just tired after an overnight shift.

Habitual drunks, like the one that hit my car, don’t think like that. They think they will go out, have a couple, and be safe to drive. So they don’t take an Uber. Then they get to the bar, the alcohol takes over, and they decide they don’t feel that bad and can’t leave the car at the bar. They will certainly feel
