This would be more meaningful were I not aware of several intersections with pedestrian crossings where the line-of-sight in one or more directions was severely limited where between those intersections that view isn’t interrupted.
If this was a one-off, there’s more doubt, but there are hundreds of people who were so traumatized they are suing Hertz, all for false arrest, often being surrounded by large numbers of police with guns drawn and playing “Simon Says or You DIE” which is a fun game for the cops, but for no one else.
