My cup holder wouldn’t come out of the dash this morning, which is infuriating. Lists of things that don’t work in my E92;
Wonder why so many people are clicking on it, or is unnecessary car shopping that popular? It actually has more views than this post that I spent time on:
Today, in unnecessary car shopping with E90M3, we find a very low mileage E90 M3. 2008 was the first model year of the E9X M3, and since then this 2008 M3 has done a mere 27736 miles; that’s a mere ~2500 miles a year.
It’s the USB and AUX input out of an E9X from the junkyard. It’s the one thing on my E92 that’s not functioning correctly, and I believe that this part might be the culprit. Now I just need to pull apart my center console to swap it out. Hopefully this will fix the issue and I can use my phone to play music in my car.…
Back when I had the funds to get an E90 M3, the two colors that I was not interested in were black and red. Since then, those colors have grown on me. Today, in unnecessary car shopping with E90M3, we find this nice low mileage E90 M3 with the competition pack.
On August 4, 2009 at precisely 12:25, I received the following email:
I’ve mentioned before that I like style 32s, looks like someone else shares my tastes. So lets take a minute to look at this E90 on style 32s.
That’s right, despite owing two manual BMWs, I don’t believe every car needs to be a manual. While I would prefer one, I would be fine with an auto if the car was never available with a manual. Bellow is a non-exhaustive list of auto cars I would own:
On July 25, 2014 I fulfilled a teenage dream and put a $1000 deposit down on a 2011 M3. Not just any M3, but my M3. It showed up at my apartment door 3 days later. If you want to read more about it, you can read what I posted three years ago.
If you recall, I had a couple offers to go back to the oilfield in fall 2017. One of them was with Halliburton to go back to frac in Denver Colorado. As much as I detested my job, at the time, I decided against taking the job. I eventually ended up in Greenville, South Carolina. Looks my decision not to return to the…
Took the M3 to work today and parked next to the financial mistake. Today started on a good note because I took the M3 to work. That was not dampened when I got to work today as the meeting I didn’t make a power point for got canceled.
First I had to get the actual VIN, I remembered the last 7, but not the whole VIN. Off to bimmer.work it was:
I took my 328i into BMW for an oil change; yes I know I could do it myself, but at $90 it’s worth it to drop the car off and pickup it with freshly changed oil. While it was there, I got a call telling me that my front brakes were completely worn out and needed to be replaced. Normally, I’m not one to skimp on…
Took my car to BMW this morning for an oil change and got a call saying I needed new front brakes. The car should tell me if it needs brakes or not with the wear sensor, which I know just completes a circuit. Anyways that never went off and they told me that there was no more wear material on the pads. I asked for a…
Not sure that’s the plate I would put on that car, it’s not even an M car. Thinking a new M5 would be a much better fit, or the S62 swapped E38 running around near me. It at least had some Dinan wheels on it:
Albeit, not a full size one. I got myself a 1:18 E90 to sit on my desk next to my M3.
I also try to get my dad to buy them.
