What are you doing?

I could be on board for that.

I was joking, BMW is almost always spot on with the wheels. The 359s were standard with the competition pack and since mine doesn’t have that, I’ve got the lowly 219s, which have grown on me over the years.

How do you make a bad looking Audi look good? Simple, park it in front of a castle.

What are you talking about? They mess up all the time, just look how horrendous this is:

Apart from the fact that the X5 is made less than 10 miles from me. Unless South Carolina seceded from the union today and I didn’t get the memo.

I haven’t really heard any discord about it not being made in Germany.

Indeed it is. To make it more surprising, I rented it with a friend who also happens to own a manual car. That was probably even more shocking. He’s not even a car guy.

We better make sure we stop all those foreign made cars from driving down American streets!!

The pedal layout and the position of things like the stalks were the same. Shifting wasn’t really that difficult at all, apart from going over far enough into first. I did try to use my right hand once or twice to shift, but I didn’t mis-shift apart from trying to start in third once or twice.

It’s going to be expensive to maintain, ask me how I know that, but when it’s working correctly, oh what a car.

Juke, you obviously like bad looking cars.

Used to own one, here it is next to my 228i loaner.

BMW be like, standard electric seats? Nah, you gotta pay extra for those.

Need to get out and drive a newer one, had a 2015 228i as a loaner once and hated the steering. I’ve driven new BMWs and have hated the steering a lot less.

So what you’re telling me is that it’s a bit like BMW putting an M badge on the back of a car, it doens’t make it an M car, got it.

They’re Australian so they were bound to be bitten by a snake at some point. Guess they figured they would decide what snake bit them.

You sure this isn’t just some fundraising attempt by Mergio?
