You know it won't matter to them if they take their cars away, if the police are serious they will just revoke the licenses. And no one has even mentioned that option. The cops are just excited to get the money from selling the cars. If they cared about keeping the kids off the road, they would revoke their licenses.
I think jealousy has a lot to do with it- if they weren't driving exotics I don't think this would even make then news. No one would care.
