Wow! I have never seen a Pathfinder go for that much. We bought ours last October so we had a couple of things working in our favor; 1. the Pathfinder had already been on the market for almost 6 years and our local dealer was struggling to get rid of the darn things. 2. the Traverse was still really new to the market

I looked at a Traverse. Unfortunatley, Chevy thinks they are gold-plated. A fully loaded Pathfinder stickers at $46k (out the door for closer to $40k). A similarly equipped Traverse easily tops $50k and can get up into the mid $50's with a few options applied.

The top end versions might seem overpriced but we bought a Platinum last year and they knocked $7k off the sticker bringing the total down to $39k. At that price it is way cheaper than any of the competition (Highlander, Pilot, Kia Sorrento). The tech/engine/trans are outdated but if you want an AWD vehicle with

Take me with you. I would love to go to a land where I can forget that the Pathfinder, as currently constituted exists. Unfortunately, I have to look at one every morning when i go out to the garage.

TIL - Frank Gore is still in the league.

Shel Silverstein is the greatest poet that ever lived. I will fight anyone that disagrees.

Accountants only tell you the past and the are never wrong. It is the Financial Analyst that are trying to predict the future, and they are never correct.

Unfortunately (on many levels) when I fly into LAX it is because I am then headed to Bakersfield so, unfortunately, SNA is in the wrong direction.

I have 2 more rentals before I get to Executive. I can see Executive status making a difference at LAX. I am not sure about SLC as the people working the counter there are the surliest group of customer service reps I have run into in quite a while. In Detroit they park the cars to segregate Emerald from Executive but

Can we also discuss which airports have the best rental cars? I travel to three airports with frightening regularity; LAX, DTW, and SLC.

I was trawling through YouTube earlier today and ended up watching the PowerNation show “Trucks”. I was shocked by how the aesthetic has changed for car repair “shows” or entertainment. on “Trucks” all of the projects are beautifully painted and brand new engines and transmissions are used. That gave way to the

Except FCA finds ways to keep their vehicles interesting. Sure, their main party trick is to cram more horsepower into a car but Nissan can’t even be bothered with that. They are now what Korean automakers were about 10 years ago; a cheap alternative that gets you into the supposed reliability of an Asian automaker.

I have no doubt. I am simply pointing out that in the G/O Media world Unions good, corporations bad.

Don’t forget to add in Infiniti. My guess is that the extremely slow selling Q70 and Q70L will get the ax as well.

Are you new here? That’s not how G/O Media rolls. Union Good. Corporation Bad. That is their black and white view of the world.

Not to be overlooked is that most of the paper for the plates are printed in a plant in  Painesville, Ohio. That has to hurt their business as well.

Yup. This is why I hate baseball.

I liken automatic transmissions to roundabouts, and folding a fitted sheet; 3 things that people think they understand but really have no clue how it actually works.

We had seats in the end-zone so I spent most of the game watching Barry run at us head-on. As a Wyoming fan I was disappointed but watching him run sure was exciting.

Cocaine is totally making a comeback.
