I would also question whether or not the cooling system has been replaced/overhauled. They mentioned that it was in “good shape” but I also know that the radiator is garbage and absolutely need to be replaced, and as long as you are doing that you should also replace all the hoses, the thermostat, and the water pump.

Also, if you get the biggest Penske (26' I believe) it has a diesel, instead of the gas engine that you get in a 26' Uhaul. The few times I have had to rent the 26' Uhaul I typical get 2-4 MPG, the Penske got 7-9 MPG.
