And that's exactly what I meant, a trick differential job and that aforementioned RevoKnuckle unit will most likely be used to combat it. I solely meant that left unchecked torque steer could ruin the car. I don't think that will be the case.
I should've approached that more delicately, I've nothing against the MS3! It just is the first car I think of when it comes to a bad rep for torque steer off the lot.
No AWD is fine, albeit with a huge asterisk. The 250hp/270-ish tq of the Focus ST already has a bit of torque steer, but +70hp and I'm assuming a bit of torque and it could get a little out of hand.
