Well apparently I have been commenting on this website much longer than I had thought. This was my very first comment. Shows you where my true loyalty lies. Jalopnik was the first one of these websites I found.
Meh it's just a nesting program. Albeit one that has been designed to work with 3D objects.
It is actually pretty rare for a rotor to have cast in holes. Most companies utilize the drilled method since it is cheaper. I once had drilled EBC rotors but trashed them after 10,000 miles. The most I would go is a slotted rotor.
Meh, whatever floats your boat.
On this infographic, the parting remark in the US should be an optional goodbye since that is how a lot of people hang up the phone nowadays. It drives me insane when people don't end a phone call with some kind of parting remark. They just hang up, no bye, see ya, or anything, just click.
It's an artists impression. Sorry the other commentator was entirely unhelpful and obviously didn't read your comment.
Usually they use a packing material after the powder and before the ball.
Uh yes, look at the path of the crack. It propagated through the drilled holes. It's pretty widely accepted that rotors which are drilled after casting are not as structurally sound as a rotor with cast-in holes.
#4 and #9 are money.
A car being literally ripped in half. Would like to see the video though.
I think you meant "Watch as a Range Rover straightens the frame of a Ford Raptor..."
Also goes to show you why you shouldn't buy drilled rotors.
BMW represent. Although I am neither a bad parker or asshole driver nor are my 10+ close BMW friends. I like to go fast but I don't screw with other people on the road. I feel like people in California are much more likely to be jerks in general. I don't see any of that nonsense up here in WA. The biggest a-holes are…
Still not as bad as when I listened to a kid at my college talk about his moms new Volvo S60 to a group of 10+ people. One person asked the difference between a supercharger and a turbocharger. He says a supercharger is always electrically powered similar to a vacuum cleaner motor and a turbo is ran off the belts like…
Generally VIP cars have airbags on them so they don't have to chop their suspension and they can raise and lower them how the want. At least, if you are loaded (or trying to portray yourself as such) you can afford a quality airbag system.
I have the Cuisinart ice cream maker and it is awesome. Also have the Ice Cream Happy Hour book. I made quite a few different flavors. When I fed my ex-gf's friends they all wanted to buy a quart from me. Won't get you drunk but it sure does taste good.
Like a true Jalop at the ripe age of 16 with only 4 days on my license I received a $850+ ticket for reckless driving, driving without headlights on, having underage passengers in the car and no proof of insurance.
It may or may not be about the gear that is on the helicopter but more of that DoD contracts are usually significantly inflated. High demand from the gov't, very few suppliers capable of meeting the DoD requirements and expectations. It has been long known that DoD contractors are very well paid.
Should have bought an E36 M3.
