The Euro E36 M3 steering wheel is sexy. Lucky for us there is a guy that recovers them. You can get a nice supple soft touch leather wheel complete with M tri-color stitching. This picture shows one with the E46 steering wheel controls retrofitted in it.

It's not suppose to look like carbon fiber. Its just there for grip. Just like my SII, designed to enhance grip.
