Sounds like a lot of the GM cars had same issues. My 2002 Bonneville SSEI ate wheel bearings constantly. Didn’t matter what brand or where you got them from - just a shit design and/or poor quality. The S/C V6 even before mods wrecked a transmission and more so afterwards.

I have an ‘06 Impala SS. Can confirm what you said about bearings, transmission, and battery. Had to replace them all.... It’s a good car for straight lines, but turning on those flat leather seats is not fun.

Didn’t the grand prix gtp have the HD trans as well? My brother went through 3 transmissions in his but the engine was dead ass reliable.
