Hi, I’m Jeff and I also secretly love the X6M.

I couldn’t live with myself knowing that I let a Versa go ruin someone else’s life. I’d set it on fire. Or drive it into the ocean. But I just wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I put that evil on someone else.

While I had the Versa, I had someone pull out in front of me while I was doing 80 in the left lane of the NJTP. He had for some inexpiable reason pulled off way into the grass in the median between the truck and car side to let a cop with his lights and sirens on past. He then proceeded to meander back into the left

Even if I ignore the CVT, the rest of the car was just terrible. I get that it’s the cheapest car in America, but it doesn’t need to feel like it costs $5k less then it actually does. And the price does not at all excuse the horrid ergonomics. You can’t tell me adding an extra inch of width to the armrest would break

I happen to know for a fact that an e46 with fold down rear seats will in fact swallow a 50" TV, as long as you remove the stand first. Doubt you could get the whole box in there, but it does fit the TV when it’s out of the box with the stand removed. I’ve moved a 42" and a 50" at the same time in my ZHP.

You say that, but next time go jump in a Versa. You’ll be ready to end it all in about 15 miles or so. I was forced into driving one for a week and it was the most miserable excuse for a car that I have ever had the displeasure of driving. And I’m not just giving it crap because I DD a BMW. I had a Malibu rental for a

The only thing Medallions give you vs a non-medallion cab is the sole right to pick up street hails. Uber and Lyft don’t utilize street hails, so they are not and never have been infringing upon the monopoly of medallion holders. Prior to Lyft or Uber livery cabs filled that role, albeit not as well since they did not

There are 13,605 NYC medallions. 11,787 of them were issued in 1937 for $10. The remaining 1,818 were sold at auction since 1996. If the city were to refund the medallions at cost, the initial 11,787 would only be worth $177.69 each, assuming the city was kind enough to factor inflation into the initial purchase cost.

Lava(and rock in general) is a terrible conductor of heat. you can solidify the outer layer with water, but the bulk of the lava will remain fluid and just carry the solid outer layer along like a shield.

You know, I could even buy falling out of the top 10, maybe even top 20. Coming back from having a kid is no joke, my wife told me the other day that she just finally feels back to normal, and our daughter is just over a year old, and my wife is not a world-champion tennis player. But at the same time you can’t tell

IIRC the Viper V10 had no crossover, so it’s sound was simply that of 2 out of order I5's.

You are aware this will drive up the costs of used cars as well, right? If you drive up the cost of new cars, more people will look to the used car market. More buyers in the used car market means prices go up there as well.

Just about, their SC assembly line specifically is very modular. They could switch from building cars to export to building cars for the NA market pretty quickly. It would probably cost their local suppliers big-time though because I doubt they are agile enough to make that switch without incurring big losses.

BMW’s SC assembly line is very modular and very large, I wouldn’t be shocked if BMW just stopped exporting their X-cars from the US and flipped to assembling knockdown kits of 2/3/4/5 series alongside enough X cars to fulfill the US market. So you might end up with a Ford Edge that costs the same as a 340i.

V6 engines are, by default, compromised engines. They require extensive balancing just to prevent them from ripping themselves to pieces. You only use a V6 because an I4 won’t cut it and a V8 can’t fit it. You aren’t going to convince me that an engine that is actively trying to rip itself to pieces is the greatest

so is their name Mumes or Grisk? maybe Grusk?

And people bitch about BMW’s inflated engine badge sizes. Meanwhile Mercedes is over here inflating engine size by 77%.

Second. No V6 should ever be in the running for best engine of all time.

That they were about to beat the shit out of him because it looked for all the world like he had been beating my Mother, thanks to his bandaged knuckles and her black eyes.
