Watching the video, it looks like it was about 1.5 seconds from the first moment you would have realized something was in the road until impact. Reading some documentation about police accident recreation, the average human reaction from the point at which an unexpected object enters their field of view to the driver

Autonomous cars don’t need to be better. They need to be as good as an average driver. If they can reach that bar(which by all accounts they likely have) you gain the ability to remove the worst 50% of drivers from the road. And if you remove the worst 50% I guarantee traffic accidents will fall through the floor.

correct answer is 6. On my ZHP 5 is the 1:1 gear and 6 is the OD gear. It works out nicely as if you shift at 10 MHP increments you end up in 6th at 60, and the car still pulls nicely in 6th. I do still occasionally try to shift to an imaginary 7th, but it’s nowhere near as often as I tried to shift into imaginary 6th

Except the important people, because they are important with important places to be important.

Deer are particularly stupid. I once had one run into the side of my car. While I was stopped. Because I saw said deer near the road and hit the brakes.

Also things to not cut off: Tractor-trailers, box trucks, uhaul trucks, anything towing anything, etc. Basically if it’s bigger than you you really shouldn’t cut it off. I mean you shouldn’t cut anyone off, but cutting off things bigger than you is a super dumb thing because they almost assuredly cannot stop in time

To be fair, most of those look pretty unavoidable by the bus. Busses don’t exactly stop on a dime.

The outer upper rear control arm link on every e46 is a solid ball joint. It also happens to fit the lower control arm, and it’s pretty common to run both with the solid ball joint. I’m at 130k on the both and they are as quiet as can be. Both wear full boots over the moving parts and are known to last an extremely

The statement was only car in its segment with RWD, not only sedan in it’s segment with RWD. While the 2 series might not be a sedan, it is most definitely a car.

uh...I’m pretty sure the 2 Series comes with RWD as standard...

I mean I get that it’s 3 wheels. Not like you could pick up a 10k lbs bike if you dropped it.

I...I need more information about this monstrosity.

For starters, that 1 state is more than 10% of the US population, and it’s not just 1 state. There are 16 other states that match CA’s pollution standards, all told they represent 35.5% of the population and include some of the highest median household income states(8 of the top 10).

because more cylinders=more friction+more parasitic drag(to a point, there is a crossover point where increasing engine size causes more friction and drag than adding cylinders). Turbos let you get more power out of smaller engines so it makes sense to lose cylinders to keep friction and drag down.

I get out of mine by being super apologetic, honest, and overly cooperative. I make sure to tell the officer where everything is that I am getting and when I am getting it, I put my keys on the center of the dash where he can see them, the whole 9 yards. Can’t count how many times that’s gotten me out of a ticket. I

I placed a tire on, but not over a double yellow line while being followed by a car by no more than 12" in a 50 on a 2-lane road at 1am. There was a cop car behind the car that was tailgating me, they pulled over the tailgater then apparently radioed ahead to another car to follow me, once they finished up with the

R12 was phased out because it was basically kryptonite for ozone and R134a has essentially zero ozone impact. R12 is a type of CFC, which have been regulated out of existence everywhere due to its massive ozone impact.

As someone who used to have to clean a public bathroom at a Target, if you think the men’s room is bad, you ain’t seen nothing. The women’s room was reliably worse than the mens room. It was not uncommon to find a smear of poop on the wall of the stalls. And not like it got there by accident, it was clearly smeared by

yeah but those MPG requirements that GM is trying to hit are to help prevent our kids from living underwater(as well as reducing our dependence on oil), so it’s not like it doesn’t have a benefit behind it.

I believe my e46 states it wants 89 minimum but BMW recommends 93.
