This is the most Philly thing that ever Phillied.

To be fair, BMW is one of the few manufacturers that allows you to turn it’s traction & stability control fully off.

You need to go rewatch that play. Ertz catches the ball on the run, takes 2 steps, cuts upfield on the 3rd then is hit while starting a leap to the endzone. He was not falling whatsoever as part of the catch. He not only took 3 steps, he also made a “football move” when he cut upfield.

It’s OK, you can resume hating us today, but for one glorious moment we could put aside our differences and scream “fuck the pats” in joyous celebration.

The Ertz TD and the James INC are not remotely close to each other. Ertz is not falling down as part of the catch, which James was. By not falling down while he caught the ball, and by getting a 3rd step in he is a runner, so all he needs to to cross the plane with the ball in his possession. James was falling down

Sooo...10-15 years as the Special Teams QC assistant of the Browns?

The Ertz catch was unquestionably a catch, the comparisons to the James catch are idiotic. James caught the ball while falling down, never established himself as a runner and lost control when he hit the ground.(note I think it *should* be a catch, it just isn’t under current rules). Ertz on the other hand caught

Maybe a block made out of TEG material so they can harvest waste heat directly into electricity coupled with something akin to BMW’s turbosteamer concept from a decade ago?

There are 10k rats. They aren’t going to be in a single layer of rat, when the eagle tries to swoop in its going to sink into the rat horde, where other rats can latch on. And even if it takes an average of 10 tries for the rats to successfully get enough to latch on that the eagle can’t fly off, the eagles have

Even then, you don’t have to kill it, just have the rats swarm, eat eyes and leg tendons rendering it blind and immobile, then move to the next target. Hell, just leg tendons. The sheer numbers make it impossible for anything else on the list to kill a truly meaningful number of rats. Even the eagles aren’t going

10k rats and 3 grizzly bears. 5k rats will set out at the start of the battle to attack the man with gun. He is the only one that can attack at range, and therefore the most dangerous.

You can’t be down by contact until you have possession of the ball. If it was moving around pre- and post-contact, he can’t be down as you can only be down if you possess the ball.

Still better than Italian Reliability, German Design, and Japanese Engineering.

I never liked those seats. I always felt like I was sitting on them, not in them, if that makes sense.

Now that I think about it, there may have been more than just two. I seem to recall getting two different wrong pads, but I can’t say for sure.

The engine is about the only redeeming part of that car.

If they didn’t use the “uprated” 4t65e their torque rating would be even weaker than the HD version and iirc there isn’t that much of a torque difference between the s/c v6 and the v8.

It’s an amazingly good car, and it will be a sad day when I finally move on from it. I imagine it’s going to be a lot like how I occasionally pine for my old e30, but worse. And it was just a 10hp increase(and a whole 8 extra torques!), but those are 10 of the stoutest horses I know of. On track I can walk away

Nope, it’s tucked under the frame in front of the front passenger wheel. To get it out you had to unbolt the fuse box, removing a retaining bolt that you can’t see, is at the bottom of the battery and there is only 1-1.5” of clearance from the battery to the engine. There is also a reinforcement bar you have to

The V8 in the W-body is not all it’s cracked up to be. GM’s penny-pinchers took what could have been genuinely interesting and slapped parts-bin pieces from lesser cars all over it. The best example: the transmission. In theory the 4t65e HD was beefed up to better handle the higher torque output of the V8 vs the V6.
