The downside is naming it that instantly invaildates the Laferrari’s name.
That would be something in the neighborhood of “la Ferrari di Ferrari.” The words might be out of order, I don’t speak Italian and I know the order of words in english is screwed up compared to most other European languages, but it would still need “di” or possibly “della” in there somewhere.
Even then, it’s still literally called “The Ferrari.” In any english speaking country(and many other languages, just substitute that languages version of “the”), when referring to a car you use the definitive article “the” before the manufacturer name. So in english, this car is called the Ferrari Laferrari. Which…
because it’s translation is “The Ferrari The Ferrari.” If Ford sold a car called The Ford The Ford we’d make fun of that too.
Came here to say the exact same thing. Hi/low/4x intermediate is enough for all situations. Throw in a car that’s smart enough to drop down a speed when you come to a stop at a light and you barely need to touch the stalk.
This has already been solved in multiple ways. Rain sensing wipers(I used to have this until the sensor broke and I don’t care enough to fix it). More than one intermediate speed(my car has 4 ranging from the wipers only pausing 2-3 seconds before starting the next wipe to nearly 30 seconds between wipes). Speed…
2-3 qts per interval is 1qt per 5k-7.5k, not 2-3qt per 5-7.5k. scale your 1/4-1/2 every 3k up and thats 1qt every 6-12k, which is in the ballpark(indeed overlapping with) of 2-3qt per 15-20k interval. Simple math.
If you want to play, ignoring your position coach by sleeping through the meetings, refusing to mentor the new guys, and telling people you are trying to get on the IR or traded is not exactly how you get on the field. And yeah Porter wasn’t as good as Harrison, but he is still the coach, and you still need to pay…
2-3 quarts per interval is 1 quart every 5k-7.5k miles. It would have been obscene 20 years ago because they were usually running intervals below 7.5k. You were probably burning a quart or near a quart per interval and just didn’t know it because you changed the oil before you burned enough to become an issue.
There are very few cars from 20/30/40 years ago that are still on the road. The few that are were likely maintained at a level above their left-for-dead peers and are not good examples of the reliability of the cars as a whole. Look at the K-cars, they are all between 30 and 40 years old, there were 3.5 million of…
or hack them together for MAXIMUM POWER!
They’ve already figured it out. The dine-in cinemas. Pushing a button to have a waiter bring you a beer mid-movie is an amazing thing that everyone should experience.
After this year my goals are simple; don’t blow the new engine and don’t drop another $4k into the suspension. I refreshed/replaced/upgraded so much crap in 2017 that I hopefully will be able to get through 2018 with no major parts needed.
They could avoid a roster expansion and just get rid of the mandatory inactives. Teams dress 53 players every week rather than the 46 currently allowed.
The ones in my car tend to fail at big numbers, I think my first set lasted until 150k. I just replaced both of them because it’s faster to do both at the same time than wait for the other one to fail.
When doing wheel bearings, slide hammers are your friend. Much easier way to pull a bearing off a spindle, and far more satisfying. Honestly they are my favorite tool because there are precious other times while working on a car where you just get to go ham on something and that’s exactly what you were supposed to…
You guys know that it’s just one dude that drives an entire Aircraft Carrier right? It only takes one person to pilot a ship of virtually any size. Helm control is always controlled at a single station. You need the crew to do all the other things plus fix crap that breaks down, but piloting the vessel is a one man…
There is nothing explicitly stated in any of the movies that the navicomputer *must* complete it’s calculations prior to engaging hyperspace. In fact we know for sure you can jump to hyperspace before the computer finishes its calculations as that exact thing was done in Rouge One as they were fleeing Jedha. If you…
Well If you want to go down the turbo hole, the S55 is, in stock form, already throwing down close to 500hp. Even though it’s only rated at 425, it regularly dynos near 425 at the wheels, the M4 GTS dynos near 480 at the wheels. That puts a normal M3/4 at ~480-500hp and the GTS at ~540-560hp. No mods needed, just…
