If you are going to break out the pitchforks & torches every time a non-black person sings along to your song, you probably shouldn’t be saying the word that you find so wildly offensive. I don’t say slurs against my own race and expect that people of different races won’t directly quote me, and if I did, I would

So, as white person, am I allowed to get angry at a non-white person for singing along with a song that contains an offensive slur against white people?

In reference to the Eagles endzone dance parties:

Dunno about that guy, but on mine the plastic clips that hold them into the hood got brittle and broke off(granted this was at 13 years and 200+k miles). It was like a $50/2 minute repair.

I have had all of those problems except the headliner and transmission, but not until 200K and 12+ years. Granted I also blew the engine at the track, but I’m OK with an engine blowing up at the track@236k miles, I’m not going to be upset with BMW over an engine with that kind of mileage failing.

I dunno, GM can get pretty stupid at times. Like when they bolted a transmission rated for 280 lbs-ft to an LS4 making 323 lbs-ft.

It would make sense if the 4.2L is the base engine, the 6.2L is the mid-grade engine, and the 5.5L is the top engine.

why does it have an engine cover designed to make it look like it’s got a V engine under the hood?

Honestly the fact that people confuse it with a Malibu makes it more attractive to me. When it comes time for a new car I’m going to have to take a hard look at a 6MT SS. The only thing that might drive me away is the fuel economy, depending on what my commute looks like at the time.

The SS failed because when did you ever see an ad for it? 99% of the population has no idea it existed in the first place because Chevy never made an attempt to tell them it existed. If Chevy had made some level of an ad campaign to accompany the SS it might have actually sold in respectable numbers.

To be fair, it was already semi-blocked with the ball at the one. That half-yard difference probably would have resulted in a fully-blocked punt for a safety or an Eagles TD.

I know it doesn’t actually increase in weight, but do to centripetal forces it will behave as though it is much heavier.

That’s why you would balance this on a high-speed road force balancer and work at it to bring it down to zero imbalance.

maybe slightly, but remember you are talking about the equivalent of a 32 pound load at 261 MPH. If your tire is suffering severe deformation because of 32 lbs, you have other issues than attempting to make a 300mph run on it.

Likely you would be using tires that are already perfectly balanced and require no weights. High-end tires like this have a bit of extra rubber in one spot to counter-balance the valve stem. As for throwing things out of balance at speed, everything is going to increase in weight in lock-step, so it will remain in

To be fair, there is a sample size issue when comparing him to long-term starters. His total games started is less than half of Flacco’s games won, most of the 53 games he has under his belt were him dressing as Flacco’s backup QB.

I doubt it could run gearing that gives it a 250+ top speed and still have enough torque at the wheel to do a 1.9 sec 0-60. Your talking about needing to apply probably tens of thousands of lbs-ft of torque at the wheel to pull that off. A dodge Demon is applying 11.2k lbs-ft of torque at the wheel, and that’s only

Not necessarily. Titanium is strong for it’s weight, but at these power levels you need to start looking at materials strong for their density. Granted Titanium could still be on the short list for that, its specific strength is fairly high, but I suspect there are some steel alloys that are better, or something

If it’s top speed is over 250 mph, it seems like it might have a few gears. IIRC the Model S is limited to 130 because that’s the max RPM its motors will run at. The Porsche 918 disconnects its front drive motors at 150 mph because they hit max RPM, and the i8 has a 2 speed gearbox to enable its front motors to
