Agree with your point entirely. But I wouldn’t say live and let live. I say let’s air out all that dirty laundry so we can have an honest conversation and fix things.

Consider going in the winter sometime. It’s magical in the snow, and barely anybody there. Just make sure the roads are open to where you want to get to (which understandably can be tough if you’re planning in advance and coming from far away). 

You would think that as someone who seems to claim to have a medical degree would be able to figure that out. But just hear me out here...maybe he’s not actually an eye surgeon? 

Hell, combine this cluster with “stand your ground” laws, and they don’t even need to become cops anymore. Start an altercation, and then shoot the other guy dead under the claim that you were scared for your life.

Of course, over time, the real cost to the economy of this will be several times that if funded by government, but they can’t comprehend that.

It’s silly to hang on to a car you don’t need and aren’t attached to, just because of future FOMO. Just cash out, save yourself the maintenance $, and when the time comes that you actually do need a car find something that actually tickles your fancy and never look back.
