Nobody  said they suck. He said that “superior battery management” is NOT the reason that 99% of Tesla buyers (or Apple buyers) purchase those products. It’s mostly driven by image, just like many other luxury products. There’s nothing wrong with that, just own it.

THIS THIS THIS. CRAZY deals on Bolts right now. I am kicking myself even for the $230/month zero down lease I’m paying on my ‘20 Bolt I’ve had for a year right now.

On that affording bit - you can get crazy deals on Bolts. Especially the current gen now with the new one coming - there isn’t that much difference given it’s the same battery pack, same shell etc. Real world price difference between a Bolt and the cheapest Model 3 is a LOT more than what MSRPs suggest.

That’s specifically something they have supposedly fixed. I don’t have any issue with the seats on my Bolt, but I am also not a big guy - this certainly is a complaint I’ve heard a lot.

I’ll keep this short -

Which is why you are lord of the Hooniverse, and Bradley....drives a used neon greellow Leaf :P

Truly did. Nice concise ad, excellent photos...and then word vomit. Which is why I charitably proposed the possibility that they might have gone mad at the very end.

Sigh, I remember browsing these cars 10 years ago when they were going for under $10k all day long. I agree this is a clean car with a good history and am not familiar enough with the market given that they have been well beyond my price range of interest for dream shopping for a long time now. Are you suggesting that nobody is deserving of hate? If so, you’re a more pious person than I am.

I think what you’re suggesting is that these wheels are so sick that they have been Licensed to Ill?

Yeah seems like the person was expecting some form of payout, which of course THEY will never get.

America special! We set our own perceptions of reality and pretend the rest of the world doesn’t exist for context!

The ad is exactly what I would expect from Jeep, and is aimed at the demographic that buys Jeeps. I am clearly not their target audience.

It’s called pulling a “George W. Bush”!

Born in 85, definitely a Springsteen fan. There are DOZENS of us!

I thanked my lucky stars and sold mine at 140k without having to replace a turbo or any head gasket issues. That clutch would start smoking and stink to high heaven even at the slightest hill you pointed it towards (I owned an E30 at the same time, and an S2000 before it so yes I do know how to drive a manual)! Felt

Owned one of these, great car. But unfortunately they’re too old at this point and mostly severely abused...they were pretty fragile things to begin with.

And just look at those wheels! I can’t tell if they look  like that because they’re in motion so it’s the camera blur doing that, or if they actually look that fantastic!

Technically speaking, he wasn’t wrong? :P

But you pay more for all that up front - just like with an iPhone. Which is fine, if you’re the average user perhaps - you just want something that works out of the box, without any tinkering needed. But if you’re an enthusiast who enjoys working on your car yourself (and/or a cheapo like me who’d rather buy something
