For this amazing hook up.
Oppo, it is I. The poster formerly known as e30s2k. It’s been a while since I replaced my beloved E30, so it’s about time I updated you fine folks on developments.
As some of you may know, as of recently I’m a father to a baby girl (holy shit, she’s 6 months old today).
So earlier today I was excited about potentially buying a ZHP today. It seemed like it was priced a bit high but within the ballpark to reach a deal. Seller was happy to oblige to a PPI and I was awaiting results from the test this morning.
I’ve found a local E46 ZHP 6MT sedan that I’m considering buying (picture below not actual car).
Yesterday was a bitter day, hoping the next chapter can make it sweet. Yes, it is I – The Poster Formerly Known as e30s2k. Now with neither, I have officially sold my E30. This picture was taken right before the new owner drove off in it (realized I didn’t have a single photo of myself with the car) -
So my Google Assistant apparently knows that I like E30 BMWs, and it recommended an article for me about one for sale. Maybe if i sell my car I can buy it!
Oppo, I’m officially selling my E30. It’s the right decision given how little usage the car currently gets having a newborn at home (which probably won’t change much as she grows up, given that it’s not a particularly safety-laden or baby-friendly car).
My Father-In-Law has been helping us with a bunch of house renovation work and I wanted to do something nice for him by buying him a new watch. Nothing fancy, just know his current watch is beat to shit and recently stopped running (identical to watch pictured below) -

Guys! Check out this E46 M3. Topaz blue…I’m digging the color. And the price. Seems to be well maintained. And look, a picture with a manual gear lever.
Oppo, I have an E30 that has been my baby for the last 10 years. We’ve been through a lot, fought many gremlins, and she’s been very reliable for the last few years. 285k miles on the chassis and as solid as she’s ever been (newer engine put in a few years ago). Also has some light popular upgrades (suspension,…
A BWW SUV
95k miles, auto, but t-tops and so clean you could eat off it....$19k ouch
Saw this parked in SE Portland near a friend’s apt complex the other day.
Seen one similar in coupe form before, but this one is perfection.
So, Oppo - I need some advice. Over the past few years my E30 has sporadically had the same problem 4 times - fuel leak from the hose leading in to the fuel filter (right below drivers side door).
Walk by this bar (Topsy’s Funhouse on Kearny in San Francisco) everyday on my commute to/from work. Remembered to snap a shot of these awesome stools today, finally!
