I disagree with your assessment good sir. If there was a waiting list for wagons being sold stateside, they would make more wagons, that's not even a 'perceived demand' situation, it's a hard numbers game.

I agree, I feel like they are crowding that market a little too much.

There's a reason there is no choice, because no one buys them here. Chicken -> egg. This has been the case for several decades now. Car companies like making money, if people would buy them here, they would provide more options.

Absolutely. Not that the big 3 have ever been good at advertising anything not a truck.

Most escape owners don't agree with your wagon sentiment, and that's why they are buying crossovers. (cannot force consumer opinion)

Good lord, I really like that. I'm not sure if it's just how ostentatious it is or what, but it's got the 'I'm a big f-ing American boat with enough power to convince other countries to leave the soviet union', kind of style that I can't help but appreciate.

It's more of a corporately worded pat on the head, and a condescending 'sure that's what it looks like'.

Hard to fully pull apart the differences. But part of what I make out, is the overall angularity given to it (ala the success of the Cadillac design language I bet) The creased headlights will look pretty sweet I bet. I can't tell how much of the rest of the design cues are ZR1 only, but the mid waist crease/ front

Meh, a man's got to make bank somehow.

a number of which are reported to the ecu. So the parameters are available, whether or not they are taken into account for their silly gauge...

craigslist vigilantism, is there nothing you can't fix?

"so it's probably just a basic calculation done using revs."

High speed pursuits are frequently called off or slowed down if the public is in danger from the speeds. He was probably told not to take it much above 80.
