Well, it would seem weird if they had a different card processing system for the pumps. But I can accept that it’s possible. My point being that hacking the POS for the gas station may in fact not get you the card data as taken from the pumps. It all depends on design.
Man, that’s ugly. I mean really ugly.
“Secrets”... fully a third of those are things that are well known, another third are BS statements by people who aren’t in the know or even in the field. And the remaining third are what, mostly jokes?
Looks like a home built project car instead of a Tesla.
Indycar is in a state now where any potential conflicts of interest that come with his ownership are far outweighed by what he brings into it. This sale is a no brainer to support.
Wait until F1 gets a downtown Denver street race. Seb won’t talk about smelling it in just turn 1. ;)
Look, in my day, it was three-hundred and FIFTY pound guys! And it wasn’t dirt they ground our faces in, it was mud! Not the nice, slick, puddin’ consistency mud, oh no, it was the CHUNKY crap! With gravel. And we had to work on the weekends!
That’s true. And if he could’ve found something like a 50% - 75% FTE job for the off-season, something that’s not impossible (albeit not very probable) for a developer, then he could’ve kept both paths open. But yeah, that pounding, especially for his position, would be pretty bad.
Yes, we all understand it’s a stepping stone. That’s obvious to anyone. But what’s more obvious is that Vereen knew this and still rejected the path.
“How are you going to sit here and get all these people together and try to get the best talent for your league and pay them $27,000?...
Pretty much the definition of predatory right there.
How do these dealers stay in business??
That’s scary. I was thinking the exact same thing. Not kidding either; I’m radically underwhelmed at the exterior, but very favorably impressed by the interior. The one I saw at our local dealer had the Alpine trim, not the Yacht, and it just looked marvelous.
Damn that spousal logic. I’m with ya on needing that airplane. :D
“What happens when things go ugly, the rate bottoms out, and it doesn’t seem to be correcting the problem? It’s not like you can go into the negative...”
What era car antenna? If you’re talking one of those really solid ones from 70s cars, hell yeah they’d hurt. I don’t know if they were hollow at any point, but they felt like solid pieces of metal. They might as well have been fencing épées.
“I discredited Cadillacs of this era for the longest time until I rode in one. They are transformative, centering, and relaxing.”
Once in my youth, I got mom to make some for a friend’s party. The lumpia didn’t make it from the driveway to the house. I’m not kidding. I literally got “ambushed” ;) in the driveway and entered with an empty platter.
Make ‘em too fat and they don’t fry right. Sometimes too “rare” on the inside while being nearly burnt on the outside.
