It’s a stick... Obsidian Black Pearl. Black leather. Commence drooling. And stop by for a beer sometime! :) I just put in a new turbo and longblock, so your turbo failure won’t happen for a good long time... You know you want it. ;)

The Ascent is pretty badass, and built in the paint shop that was going in at Subaru when I worked there a couple years ago. :) Alas, I’m more in the budget neighborhood of a 2010-2014 Outback. My wife has a 2007 Volvo XC90 with 7 seats for road trips, so I will rarely need to fit the whole family in my car, but it’d

I love my 2005 Legacy GT Wagon! 225k miles on it and I’m going to be really sad when I have to sell it someday soon. I hope it goes to a Jalop home. Any interested parties within driving distance of Lafayette, Indiana... let me know. Baby #3 on the way, so I’m making room in the driveway for a newer version Outback

Mine decided to eat an exhaust valve and I spent about $6k to put in a refurbed 2006 STI engine... Not the most fiscally sound move, but I wasn’t ready to part with the car yet haha!

I still HAVE my Legacy GT wagon, thank you very much. :D :D :D 225k miles on it. Though I will admit, I have longingly looked at newer Outbacks now that we have the requisite 2.5 children for such things.

I made the Food Wishes recipe for Chicago deep dish pizza in a cast iron skillet for our family and wow.... it was good. My wife’s from the Chicago suburbs and said it’s as good as Pizzaria Uno (high praise indeed!)!

What in the name of all that’s holy is that from??

Wait wha??? Someone needs to elaborate.

Not completely wrong, but misguided. I was about to send his video to my boss, who’s a professor in civil engineering specializing in pre-stressed concrete until I saw that. :P

COTD and Autocorrect Fail of the Day (can this be a thing??)

Genius! I may have to try this at home tonight with our almost 2 year old daughter who sometimes throws a fit about eating dinner...

We get the occasional A-10 flyover here in Indiana from those based up in Fort Wayne. I always run outside and gawk as long as I can when they do!

This is great! Let me know if you ever want to do an article on “What Natural Hazards Scientists Wish You Knew”. I’d be happy to link you up with some great ones (granted, this is quite a little niche, but worth a shot)!

Congratulations!! I also recently lost 43 lbs since June doing simple, sustainable exercise and nutritional practices like you mentioned with a strong supportive group of men behind me. It’s so awesome to be able to lose weight, but even more importantly to be healthy and feel good about your own body. :)

As the husband of a very much underpaid music teacher who has to buy her own supplies despite having a Master’s degree from one of the best music education schools in the country... I support this statement. Seriously, where in the world would we get the budget for school security from? Oh right, probably from putting

How does one go about starting one of these lands of awesomeness??? There aren’t any in Indiana (at least that I could find in a quick Google search), and that needs to be changed!

I worked with an awesome woman in a previous life who was an engineer working on fluid systems for nuclear submarines and was trying out to be a Rockette. Dunno if she ever made it, but I think she got pretty far along in the process!

    I stand corrected. LOL

Yeah... clearly they aren’t even remotely better than whatever “this” was meant to signify. lol
