Legacy wagon owner here too. One of the happiest days of my life was purchasing my War Wagon (GT with a 5-speed! :D :D :D :D)!

THIS. SO. MUCH. THIS. Look, if you want the road to be called the damn Dan Ryan... PUT IT ON THE BLOODY SIGN YOU MORONS! Thank you for indulging my rant. :)

How do you think that formula came about, Einstein??? SCIENCE!!! Good gravy....

Let me know how the moisturizer works, you may be an automotive refinishing genius! :)

Definitely could be the dark paint color, hood geometry, and car velocity (*cough* *cough*) combo. ;) Fine scratches show up a LOT on dark colors. Those scratches are in your clear coat, and show up as white marks which is the highest contrast you can get. So you notice them more. If they bug you, check out AmmoNYC’s

As with many things in life, YMMV. :) All automotive paint will get chips and tiny scratches if you drive through gravely areas, or live near the ocean where people’s tires will throw grit and sand all over your car on the highway. What model and year of Subaru do you drive? I’ve got a trusty old 2005 Legacy GT wagon

Who let these ninjas cutting onions into my office? I really need to reevaluate our security around here...

It’s a great company, but as with any automaker the hours are crazy long for manufacturing engineers (50 hours during the week, and usual weekend work of 8-20 hours, plus shutdowns include multiple 12 hour days in a row). I have two kids under the age of 5, and really value my time with them and my wife. My quality of

Only on the first few months of production for the 2015 Outback/Legacy. lol. But seriously though, they have some of the highest quality paint in the business. And it’s especially amazing given the age of the equipment they’re using to do it with! Absolute magic. :)

They added an Impreza to the hill now that they make them there. :)

Impreza production in Indiana started for the 2017 model year. :) (used to work there in paint manufacturing engineering. So glad I’ve escaped...)

I agree with all of the above. Every time I have to drink coffee from a Keurig I try to enjoy it for whoever is hosting me at a gathering or whatnot, but I silently judge them for their laziness and wastefulness of time, energy, and money. Spend that money on better f***ing coffee beans, people! Not complicated

But he forgot the second part of that wisdom, which is to NOT RUN INTO F*CKING TRAFFIC YOU MORON.

    COTD

How’s the cargo space in those? I can fit a 9' long board (barely) into my Legacy wagon, and need to on a regular basis.

I once really wanted a Nissan 350Z, but have never owned one. Just have a last name beginning with Z.

I didn’t go full bore and do the STI 6MT swap, just the long block. Which really isn’t all that different, but it sounds cool. :P I did add a BNR 16G turbo when swapping the engine out so..... :D :D

This is why my STI powered 2005 Legacy GT Wagon (with the 5MT) has 221k miles and counting on it and I will never sell it unless I absolutely have to.

I’m the same way with Ford. It was one of my happiest days when I got rid of my wife’s Fusion a few years after that terrible dealer experience. Never again.
