Welp, guess I’m not watching my Vikings this year. Probably better that way anyway...

HAHA! Well played sir, well played.

Except the car itself provides the protection (if you’re wearing a seatbelt) when you’re driving. That’s why helmets aren’t required for driving!

Excuse me, good sir. I am one of those people that use Excel to plan vacations and put away money diligently, but had I $100k to buy a car with this would be in my driveway. I’m SO into an overpowered SUV/wagon.

    I’m totally with Wrangler guy.

To each their own! I wouldn’t give up the War Wagon for anything (other than maybe an offroad equipped 2012 Outback in forest green...).

Wait... this is a thing? That people do?

As the spouse of an elementary school music teacher, thank you for writing this. There aren’t enough advocates for the crazy crap they get put through every day, and they sure don’t get paid enough for what they put in!

Come live in Lafayette, IN! It’s really nice here! :)

Did I hear someone looking for a 2005 Legacy GT wagon with a 5 speed and upgraded turbo, clutch, etc.? My trusty War Wagon just clicked over 220k (yes, I did get a new engine put in a few thousand miles ago. Yes, I realize this doesn’t help the reliability argument).

This is pretty standard for the auto industry when launching a new model... Not a unique Tesla issue.

What are you doing still reading this? Go buy one! I’ve had mine for a few months and love it to pieces. It holds up to anything I throw at it and does it in style. Diaper bag? Check. Bricks in it for my everyday carry? Triple check. Envy of everyone I pass in the airport? Check.

Holy crap they found Jimmy Hoffa!!

One star for the CarTalk reference. :P

What in the world are they trying to portray with that jungle beat soundtrack in the promo? That somehow the Diablo is a spiritual descendant from some tribal god of the distant past?

You forgot the circle of people that would actually buy said car new, instead of all of us who would buy it 5-10 years later. ;)

Maybe they should, I don’t know... put some sort of blast shield on that runway? Or put that fence farther away?? Or maybe don’t put two big concrete curbs there?? So many poor design choices...

Don’t forget alternate routes home from each dealer you visit! Or a change of clothes/car around the block from the dealer after you leave. Can’t be too careful.
