This week on This American Life, Ira Glass goes to Florida.

    COTD for this man

But with both series’ cars on the track at the same time? Or are we just comparing lap times? It’d be interesting either way, but I’d be for a LeMans style LMP1/LMP2 type scenario with both on the track at once. :D

I think everyone on this forum can agree, we’d all like to see that. Now who has about $100 billion to make that merger happen?

Clearly you haven’t watched Top Gear much... Expensive doesn’t really figure into their calculus much. :P

In the Aston you’ll probably visit the dealership as often as a Tesla owner visits a Supercharger. :P

On your way to Montana, stop by Indiana and help me with a turbo swap! Oh and of course sample some beer from our 2 local breweries. :D

This would be a good investigative journalism subject... Someone get on this! Why is retreading tires legal? Yes, it’s cheaper. But it costs drivers and taxpayers more in maintenance and accidents, never mind the delays they cause.

But how much do an X-wing and TIE fighter cost to procure and maintain? That’s the burning question of the day!

I know this is an old post, but I just had to chime in. Yes. I have a 2005 LGT Wagon with a 5 speed and it’s everything you want in a car, more, and MOAR. I just put a new engine in it at 209k miles, and I’m about to put a new turbo and some high flowing exhaust bits. I might have a problem.

Argh, every time an article comes up about the Levorg I go off trying to find out how to import one. Darn you!

Don’t hold your breath. They’re only building the new Impreza, XV, and a yet as unnamed 3 row vehicle in that factory expansion. Nothing exciting to see here...

You and your S402 goodness.... Oh how I wish that car had come here!

Mine is one of 108 Obsidian Black Pearl, Limited, 5 MT wagons. That’s pretty cool. :P

You’d have to either swap in the drivetrain from an STI or a Legacy Spec B to get a 6MT wagon. Doable, but a major pain in the tookus.

My thoughts exactly. I’ll be driving mine until the frame rots. And then welding a new frame to it.

I’ve got a 2005 LGT Wagon with a 5-speed in black. I love that thing more than I should... Just put a new engine in it for waaaay too much money after 209,000 miles.

And even if it gets produced, we STILL will never see it in the US. ::EPIC SIGH::

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife is a teacher and has to deal with all these crazy non-names all the time... They make both of us want to barf, but we’re laughing too hard! Hence why our kids are named Alex and Jane. :)
