SAG-AFTRA and WGA are explicitly asking people NOT to boycott. The point of a strike is to shut down Supply while leaving Demand in place, which is quite literally the opposite of a boycott. The more Demand there is, the more pressure it puts on the studios to resume Supply. If people start boycotting and shutting

Gladiator 2!

please don’t boycott or start a consumer strike! neither guild has asked for that and to do so without a collective response wouldn’t make much impact. if there is a call to boycott we will likely report it.

Re. Ahsoka, that’s ... disappointing. I had wondered whether someone like myself, who hasn’t watched the cartoons at all, would be lost at sea with this new series. If indeed it’s not throwing any bones to newbies & casuals, it might be another case of a Disney+ show failing to garner an audience. Not that Eckstein is

Wait, I need to watch Clone Wars and Rebels and Tales of the Jedi before I watch Ahsoka?

Wow, I didn’t see the followup on that.  They’re so fake looking though.

Now they are “not official”

The dynamic with Carson and Ryan as Nancy’s two dads on Nancy Drew has been surprisingly delightful

Those Snow White photos are fake, FYI.

I don’t really want to see it either, so that works out.

They can flush their dollars down the toilets all they want, Big Daddy Trump would still wipe off the dogshit on his leather uppers on their faces if he passed them by on the street.

The writers are still on strike. And writers on set are necessary (zero script changes and no ad-libbing are allowed during a strike.) I feel both productions are/are going to violate that.

“Under anti-strike laws in the UK, striking actors could be sued by Warner Bros. or Legendary Television to be forced back on set.”

Funnily enough, Rosario Dawson, star of Marvel’s Daredevil and Disney’s Ahsoka, narrates the show

Please, please, please be right about Justified.

Yeah, I have to say I wasn’t annoyed by the Illuminati getting taken out — I wasn’t happy about it, but it made sense in showing the hubris of that particular group. It didn’t do anything to diminish Atwell’s What If run, either.

I was meant to be annoyed that a scene served the story being told, rather than stroking an actor’s ego or giving the audience another 10 minutes of mindless fanservice action to squee over?

This movie is “succeeding” the same way that L Ron Hubbard books sells.

Conservatives believing literally any stupid shit.

So here’s the thing.
