It really does not seem like the most cinematic premise. Carla Gugino’s character is significantly more clothed than her character in the book, I think, based on the trailer. This is probably a good idea, as much as I like looking at unclothed Carla Gugino.

This one always ranked just behind The Breathing Method for Stephen King stories I figured would probably never get adapted.

We use this stupid thing at my work. Someone actually got in trouble when the general manager heard her question the wisdom of getting this. I want to think that whoever decided to order this thing is going to face some consequences, but we all know that whoever it was is too high up the chain for that.

Snowfall is coming

The hell? This isn’t about Game of Thrones. What happened?!

Wait, without pizza delivery drivers, how will people buy weed?

The unyielding sarcasm of the above post aside, I think we can all agree that “The Last Samurai” was actually surprisingly good despite its ridiculous title and main protagonist.

It’s the whole premise of purposely taking a bad take and being earnest about it and that in and of itself being funny, not the actual material. Unfortunately, satire only works when it’s good.

He only has one post; he just keeps changing the title…

Better idea:

Yeah, but for a lower price, are you getting the same amount of smug superiority?

apart from the Coon thing

Twist: she is Littlefinger—having killed him and taken his face on her first night back in Winterfell, but she has to keep up the illusion so she’s actually following herself and tricking herself. Who will come out-deceive the other? Arya, or Arya?

DC and Warner Bros. are doing a fantastic job providing an example of how to royally screw up a cinematic universe.

I hate this thing with CK. Most dudes go through at least one period where they aren’t great to women. I look back on some of my own shit when I was younger and cringe, for sure. But assault, particularly assault as a habit, is different. I really, really hope CK was just kind of a creepy douche sometimes and that

You can’t get sued for defamation for reporting what Tig Notaro said.

Kirkman has said she wasn’t talking about Louis, she was talking about Stanhope I believe. And she didn’t say anything about him jerking off in front of her, the two people that said that are anonymous. I’m not sure what more CK can say other than what he said in the Vulture interview.

As much as all white supremacists are filth, I find myself hating more the ones who are all about screaming “White Power” and “Blood and Soil” and all that other reprehensible shit, until they find themselves in a situation where they’re facing either physical retribution or some other consequence for their actions.

He needs a big ole smack upside his head if he thinks it’s just “fun”.

How many of these young men are there who have no idea who they are, what their values are, or what they believe in? Who has failed them?
