“Screwball comedy masquerading as an adventure movie” maybe nails the reason I found Crusade a bit disappointing when I saw it. I enjoyed it but I wasn’t swept away by it the way I was with the previous two. And the rats didn’t compare to the snakes and bugs. (Better than CGI ants, tho!)

I think we can all agree that Bad Bunny’s small role in the hit Bullet Train proved that he can carry an F-list Spider-Man villain movie that doesn’t feature Spider-Man.

I’m curious about his insistence on completing Reboot Superman before doing Peacemaker S2. (AND he’s still gonna do a Waller spin-off series!) Will those two shows take place in an abandoned universe or will they get folded into his new canon? Obviously, he’s in charge and can call all the shots and keep just the bits

Gal’s WW expression in cameos is always funny to me. A slight smirk and a shrug as if to say, “Well, I guess I’m here now!”

I’m curious about the impact it had on Middleditch. He obviously never got suspended from Solar Opposites, but I think he did get shut out of some comedy circles he used to run with. I don’t think he’s been back on Comedy Bang Bang since the incident and he stopped doing his improv shows with Ben Schwartz. That said,

There’s this interview with Ben Schwartz from March of this year:

Thomas Middleditch is still on that show, after his public issues.

I thought FALLOUT was the perfect ending for the franchise, so I was a little surprised they had the audacity to not just keep it going but do a 2-parter.

A lot of performative disinterest in this movie.

I think this equation is part of why the PLFs are big business and major tentpole movies like Mission Impossible fight to get longer windows on IMAX screens.

I really liked the movie, goofy CGI and all. There, I said it. No shortage of hate for this movie online, but I enjoyed it.

I love Spider-Gwen. I can’t believe Sony is making an El Muerto movie instead of a live action Spider-Gwen movie.

I know what you mean -- I kept thinking they were pushing Batman/Keaton in the marketing so much to try to distract people from the behind-the-scenes drama. Felt like if Marvel had spoiled No Way Home. That said, there were more surprises in the movie than I expected. Cage, Clooney. I loved seeing Helen Slater (I know

They never sequeled A Bug’s Life (aside from a theme park attraction). I feel like they could’ve done more with it. Get Dave Foley some more work.

I love this one.

I hope there are no jumpscares and the entire house consists of following two men as they dine, plant strawberries, and quietly love each other until their bittersweet end. I want to see people ugly-crying as they stumble out of this house, the music of Linda Ronstadt swelling in the background.

Temple of Doom fans: Raj Singh, who played the young Maharajah, was also at the new Indiana Jones premiere!

Kesha began by explaining that she used to carry her Seinfeld DVDs with her around the world “so whenever it would get bumpy on the plane, I would pop in Seinfeld and feel like everything’s OK in the world and watch my buddy Jerry.”

I think everyone gets really superstitious about these numbers but there’s obviously no reason why a later entry can’t be better. Many tv shows don’t really find their rhythm until a few episodes into the run. The Mission Impossible and Fast & Furious franchises don’t really hit their groove until their 4th, 5th

I may not love most of them but I’m not against these attempts at live-action remakes. I’m always curious how they’re going to adapt these really peculiar films for modern audiences. I feel like a “photorealistic” Bambi movie could just come across as a sort of nature doc.
