Dead Again Again
Seems like a rude oversight to not have Malcolm McDowell perform one of the voices.
Lindelof is one of the most successful writers out there. LOST was a massive success. The Leftovers and his take on WATCHMEN were widely acclaimed. Yet he so often presents himself as this sad sack underdog.
Since everyone’s so nuts about this movie (including Gunn), I wonder if they’re keeping it canon for the Gunniverse. Including Sasha Calle as Supergirl?
If he’s actually in it, there’s no way Boyega suits up again just to play “funny, supportive friend to hero”. At the very least, it’s gotta set something up for him to potentially star in his own movie.
This is why 7,000 people had to lose their jobs throughout Disney.
Really liked it. I love horror though my appetite for gore has never been high, and this is really a love letter to splatter — some of it’s tough on that level but I still really appreciated it.
I love McAvoy. But that movie is such a fucking bummer.
I’m glad someone brought this up!
I dropped outta TWD a while ago now (after Negan brutally beat Maggie’s husband to death in front of her, and they milked the moment over many months).
Would loooove scenario B. It all goes back to planning things ahead. You can still give the filmmakers all of their creative liberty, just make sure there are some key connected points.
Snoke clone as a Mr. Roeper landlord type
I’m a big fan of the mundane evil empire depicted in ANDOR that’s filled with repressed office workers and bureaucracy. They should have a Star Tours where we’re stuck in slow-moving traffic, or we’re forced to endure some kind of training seminar.
I remember seeing the new TFA content in Star Tours that month before TFA was released at the end of 2015. It was more exciting because we had no idea who any of these characters were! How were they connected to the Skywalker saga? It was all still a mystery! And we got to spend a little time with these mystery…
Mario Bros dropped in the mid-80s, so it planted its flag in my Gen-X.
It’s always funny to me, especially because obviously Pratt’s not doing the voice for other countries.
Finn was one of the most interesting characters in the main Star Wars saga — that got totally marginalized over the course of 3 movies. (Before TFA, when we had no idea who these characters were, I thought he was gonna be the main hero... and he’s relegated to one of the hero’s friends by the end.)
Those dislikes were definitely issues that stood out to me, in a movie that I enjoyed.
Was expecting Paddington Cocaine Bear.
I wish I could get the REAL STORIES behind press releases like that, because it seems like a big deal.
