Are there any articles about this yet? I’ve heard some uproar over it.

I attended an advance screening of GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE on Monday (Alamo Drafthouse - Lower Manhattan) and the Reitmans made an appearance.
I’m assuming the first ones in line are the big Disney Parks Fan YouTube channels and I’m looking forward to watching the reviews/documentation of the experience. Those videos should score them a lot of views, even if there’s a limit to what they can shoot.
I like that the “multiverse” creates a situation where you can have all versions interacting with each other. I’ve just wanted to see a really good looking “Green Goblin”, and would love for the MCU to have its own Green Goblin that looked more like the character than a Power Rangers baddie. Love Willem Dafoe -- I…
I know it’s a horror/slasher movie, but the whole “unkillable monster” trope really needs to be dealt with.
I liked this movie more than I expected to given a lot of negative buzz and have some hope that the complete trilogy might work better than putting these out as individual films (based on how much I’ve liked the the creatives work on “Vice Principals” and “Righteous Gemstones”).
No big spoiler but there’s a sequence in Halloween Kills (that doesn’t involve Jamie Lee Curtis) that I thought might have been a PSYCHO homage.
Thank you for pointing this out. I’ve noticed it, too. Serpico’s totally a doppelganger.
Is APEX another “Bruce Willis” movie where he agreed to shoot for 2 days for a big bag of cash and has a surprisingly small amount of screen time? Assuming so, since Neil McDonough gets top billing, though the trailer does show Bruce in multiple locations/scenarios.
I haven’t seen his full filmography but the two that stand out to me were his vile cop character in DETROIT and his vaping prick character in MIDSOMMAR.
Well articulated. Affleck doesn’t feel like the same level of “Batman” as the others because he never got a solo feature, because the WB was in a mad rush to get to their “shared universe”.
I didn’t love the first Venom but the new one is somehow far worse, IMHO. (Woody Harrelson can be a fine actor but he’s camping it up in this like he thinks he’s in a Joel Schumacher comic book movie.)
Baby Hutt? I would like them to create a decent looking Hutt character. All the CGI incarnations of Jabba and the Hutts have looked... less than convincing as physical creatures...
I imagine in Joel Silver’s recollection, he’s the genius producer who motivated this stunt guy by giving him that directive.
My dream would be a “Twisted Metal” directed by George Miller. The guy who made the “Doof Warrior” happen could make Axel on two giant wheels work.
Every so often, I look up umbrella technologies to see if anyone’s designed a better umbrella. The big issues for me:
George Miller is 76 and still working on exciting projects people are looking forward to seeing. Ridley Scott is 83 and still going.
I love what Insomniac’s done with Spider-Man. I think it’s challenging to make really good superhero games. (I could not get into that Avengers game.) Hoping the company manages to adapt Wolverine as well as they’ve adapted Spider-Man, in terms of basic control scheme and making you really feel like you’re embodying…
Given the headline, I was expecting more of a story here. Like calling him a “douchebag” being a reference to something that had been cut from the movie.
I love that Rick & Morty started as a parody of Doc Brown and Marty from Back to the Future — I also love how far it strays from that initial inspiration.
