I know not everyone’s gotten a chance to use the PS5 DualSense, but it is a wonderful evolution of the Playstation controller. The haptic feedback is so cool, I can’t wait for more games to exploit it.

Cheers to older gamers. The Atari 2600 and ColecoVision were my first consoles. Perusing the cartridges on the site, I think most gamers should see familiar games in the NAMCO and DATA EAST collections. And Atari connoisseurs will get a big nostalgia fix off the Atari collections.

Definitely. Dark World was directed by Alan Taylor, a veteran of many “Game of Thrones” episodes, and and it shares that muddy GoT aesthetic.  That show was its own sensation at the time and I think “gritty GoT Thor” got Taylor the gig after Patty Jenkins dropped out during pre-production.

AGREEED! I thought the first Thor was okay. The second Thor was my least favorite MCU movie for a while. Ragnarok made it all click for me, leaning into Hemsworth’s comic abilities. It rejuvenated that franchise; one of my favorite entries in the MCU.

It’s a complicated issue. On the surface, the natural response is BOYCOTT. But Stacey Abrams has been a vocal supporter of avoiding a boycott.

IIRC, Tony Gilroy said the key to him fixing “Rogue One” was that he wasn’t completely in love with the Star Wars saga. So he wasn’t a fanboy trying to make a love letter to his childhood, he was just trying to tell the most compelling story.

Black Widow has only just been rated PG-13 by the MPAA

They lose sight of what makes Chucky scary, which is that it’s this innocent looking doll patterned after the old My Buddy dolls.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Jonah Ray being the new guy, but I really liked the Netflix run and warmed up to Jonah.  I wish this had found a long-term home on Netflix, but I’m glad they’re fighting their way back.

Good points. I rewatched the original Space Jam recently and clearly, it was a vehicle custom-made for MJ. IMHO, I think Jordan had a lot of innate star-quality/presence and he could masterfully carry a commercial spot... but clearly struggles carrying a feature film. Space Jam definitely didn’t launch an acting…
