Even if there’s a speck of truth to this, I’m relieved that Cavill may not be done with the cape. He’s talented and I think fully capable of being an AMAZING Superman, with a filmmaker at the helm who isn’t so afraid of making a genuine Superman movie.

YES!  That’s my feeling, too.  I like most of MAN OF STEEL.  It’s got some good ideas.  And I really think he’d be an amazing Superman if they could find someone who’s not afraid of making a Superman movie.

I loved this show. I thought the writing and acting was consistently strong for years. The only reason I stopped watching a few years ago was because I went through one of my “I’m watching too much damn tv” phases, and sacrificed the shows that were piling up in the DVR.

Okay, sooo, (some) people know that the character of Harley Quinn didn’t originate in the comics, but from BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES in 1992. Stay with me on this one...

My favorite Black Widow scene is her introduction in The Avengers. Beyond that, I don’t find her particularly interesting.

That’s incredible.  That’s why it feels a little strange that there’s not more fanfare over something like this coming out.  But I guess it’s the nature of the industry.  These projects can spend decades in development and then one day -- they’re just out in theaters.  Like any other movie.

I feel like I’ve been reading about Cameron’s “BATTLE ANGEL ALITA” since the 90s on Ain’t It Cool News. That’s why it was so weird to see an actual trailer for it, and to now have an actual review of it (which I’ve skimmed just enough to see it’s disappointing).

Sorry to Bother You’s Lakeith Stanfield is now in talks to play the lead in Nia DaCosta/Jordan Peele remake of Bernard Rose’s Candyman.

Anybody could make a Dracula or Frankenstein movie if they wanted to.

She’s terrific in SUICIDE SQUAD even though that movie’s script is preternaturally stupid. Her character and backstory make zero sense.  I hope they do some basic work to fix this.

And Robert Downey Jr was very vocal about how he/they tossed out a lot of the first IRON MAN script as they were shooting and rewrote it as they went.
