Haven’t seen this in ages but for me, the part that shook me the most was when one of the girls accidentally kills a friend.  That felt much more gruesome than the monsters killing them.  Also, the alternate ending was creepy as hell to me.

I’m a Disney Parks nutter and would LOVE to see GDT make that “HAUNTED MANSION” movie he signed up for, which focused on the “Hatbox Ghost”.

I, too, quit The Middle -- in one of my great “there’s too much tv!!!” purges.  But I found the show very endearing and would have been intrigued by a Sue Heck series.

I was hoping for a Clubber Lang cameo in Creed II.  According to my extensive Wikipedia research, Mr. T’s a born-again Christian who doesn’t wear his gold anymore, so maybe he wants to distance himself from his old roles.  But Clubber Lang was *scary*.

I’m with you here.  I revisited V after many years and it’s surprisingly good!  It actually tries to deal with the aftermath of the beating that Rocky took by Ivan Drago in the previous movie.  His son’s bully plot is a little wince-inducing, including the “GO FOR IT!” montage, but everything as a whole is much better…

I saw Rocky IV when it was in the theaters, with my mom.  My mom doesn’t care about boxing or sports in the slightest, but when Rocky beat Ivan, SHE STOOD UP AND CHEERED.  These movies know how to work an audience.

Chris Elliott appearing as different characters on Late Night was such a highlight.

Nice to see the King of Podcasts Marc Maron guesting, esp since Maron’s been a regular guest on Conan for years.

I dislike the kneejerk vitriol that gets thrown at Pelosi when she does anything short of calling for the blood of the firstborn of every Republican. I’m definitely of the mind that we should wait and see what they actually do with the House before immediately calling for their beheadings.

Another great example. If it’s a Jesse story, I’d be surprised if Walter White weren’t haunting him throughout. Jesse Pinkman has demons and Walt’s the perfect embodiment of all of that. I could see them even bringing in Jessica Jones herself, in a similar capacity.  The ghosts haunting him.

Obviously, Walter White’s going to be back as a Force Ghost.

Vince Gilligan’s turning BREAKING BAD into a whole Star Wars universe. I’m picturing a dedicated Albuquerque-Land at Disney World in a few years, with blue rock candy and “tweaker” cast members digging holes in the ground and RV rollercoasters.

I loooved Super Mario Bros 2 when it came out.  My character was always Princess because she could float for a spell, which seemed to make it all so much easier.  Loved that it was so different from the first game, kept it interesting.

I won’t pretend it holds up but I really loved Wes Craven’s SWAMP THING movie as a child (when I was too young to understand these feelings I had for Adrienne Barbeau).
