I’m with you. I’m okay with the twist. The build up is so intense. And I like the final shot.

I hope he plays her deadbeat older brother who gambles away her savings!

The show’s big on cheats. Like when the Saviors suddenly were omnipresent and had the numbers to knock down Rick and the gang— who themselves had been an unstoppable killing machine up to then. The Saviors are as numerous and present and powerful as the writers need them to be up until they decide it’s time for them

I’ll refrain from explicit comics spoilers, but it’s weird what they’re doing with the (implied) flash-forwards. Wonder if they’re gonna keep doing this throughout the season. Could get annoying.

I remember Arnold Schwarzenegger going on the late night talk shows at the time BRAGGING about how “THE LAST ACTION HERO” was going to slay JURASSIC PARK at the box office.

I adored those movie vinyls/storybook/read-alongs as a child in the late 70s/early 80s. We didn’t have a VCR until later in the 80s, and I remember experiencing a lot of those old Disney movies more through their vinyl counterparts than actually seeing the movies.

The Problem with Porgs

I like that they’ve got Sissy Spacek and Bill Skarsgård. Getting people who’ve played iconic characters in Stephen King adaptations makes it feel more immediately tethered to that world.

But I grew up on gray, freezer-burned ground-beef!

February. When I heard they’re delaying the 2nd half of the season to slow-down the binge-watching instinct, I thought it might get released on September or October!

I had one of these as a kid. (Because I am now old.)

From the title, I was hoping this was gonna be a movie with a bunch of Keanu clones, like MULTIPLICITY.

Loved this movie when I was a kid...

THE MUMMY was such a strange misfire of a movie.

I think I went to see The Phantom Menace 3 or 4 times in the theaters during its initial run. Me and my friend went to great lengths to rationalize how it was impossible to judge it until we’d seen the ENTIRE trilogy. Maybe there were things we just didn’t get yet. Maybe all of this was setups for some massive payoffs

At a glance, these logic questions might be dismissed as “overthinking”, but I was watching CARS 3 and at one point they’re showing all the merch they’re going to use Lightning’s likeness on — and they’ve got a “George Foreman Grill” thing...

I feel like there was a long era where they were turning sketches into movies. The 90s were a big time for this. Coneheads, It’s Pat, Stuart Saves His Family, Night at the Roxbury, Superstar, soooo many movies from some really slight sketches.
