I know that there are fans of the “Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” movie (I liked elements of it but didn’t like it as a whole) — but this reminds me of that project.

I’m a little sad that John Williams isn’t scoring READY PLAYER ONE. It’s such a peculiar property because it’s steeped in the 80s pop culture that Spielberg and Williams helped make and influence. I’m so curious what RP1 is going to look like.

There are less Transformers, dramatically less…We hired, purposely, Travis Knight who’s a very distinct filmmaker. You can’t compete with Michael [Bay], you’re going to lose.

Idris is about the age that Roger Moore was when he took over the Bond role, and he made 8 of those things.

Heart failure at 39? I really wish there were more information here. Did he have a condition he was dealing with? These young deaths are devastating.

So glad it’s re-release and not a remake.

The Bewitchin’ Pool is the unintentionally *funniest* episode, for my money. It sounds like an old lady dubbed over the dialogue for the little girl. The parents make Don and Betty Draper look like parents-of-the-year. And the premise concerns kids embracing the sweet escape of drowning.

THIS is why it’d be sooo good for Marvel to reclaim Fantastic 4. (Aside from the fact that FOX doesn’t know wtf to do with it.)

Looking forward to the sequel, JUMANJI: BACK OFF BITCH

Well, the acting isn’t that great, and the writing is terrible, and the concept is terrible, and it doesn’t look very good... but remember RUFIO?!?

Scrolling down, I thought the GAME OF THRONES character posters were the first teasers for the new AVATAR movie(s).

David Harbour told TV Guide that “Justice for Barb” is a “big” theme of season two...

Geoff Johns revealed to Variety...

Paging Peyton Reed! PEYTON REED! TELEPHONE!

Saw HOWARD THE DUCK when it came out in theaters as a kid and I *looooved* it, and had such a crush on Lea Thompson. I was pre-adolescent so it was the perfect mix of kiddy-movie but weirdly naughty, but not too naughty. (Still way racier than some generic pre-teen movie you’d find today.)

Precisely! And the bloody marks on the curve represent her futile artistic dreams as she tries to elevate herself... dreams which gracefully wash away...

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch...

Lorenzo di Bonaventura revealed the spinoff is set in 1985...

The Spider-Mobile’s presence in OLD MAN LOGAN was one of the biggest surprises for me, especially how prominent it is in the narrative.

Are we sure that it’s “certain death” awaiting at the bottom? It’s the unknown, which is scary, but that doesn’t have to mean “death”. It could be a pit filled with cushions. And a steady job with good health benefits. I choose to believe she’s better off in the abyss.
