The end stinger reminded me of the "Lily of the Valley" season finale ending of Breaking Bad, complete with a similarly sinister song.

That end stinger slays. Look, minority opinion here but I *liked* JimmySteve. It's crazy but something about him and his character that I liked. And Wells's explicit confirmation of Jimmy's off-screen death, including Rossum echoing the information on her end… still made it seem an odd way to go. Plus, my damn…
TEMPLE OF DOOM, "Anything Goes" sung in Mandarin with a perfect Busby Berkeley production. One of the reasons I love that movie. It's such a crazy way to open the follow-up to RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. Completely defying all expectations.
Ahhh, Beastmaster: Ferrets & Boobies. I watched that movie to death.
"Armed And Dangerous also featured SCTV stars Levy and John Candy, as well as a young-and-adorable Meg Ryan; though beloved by a certain generation that watched it 100 times on cable…"
A show with so much potential that never realized all its promise. I'd be more excited if someone other than Kring were overseeing this.
The Steve/Jimmy thing has been nagging at me, esp. because the last episode of SHAMELESS on my DVR listed Justin Chatwin. (My DirecTV DVR often lists erroneous information for shows.) But I just found these two articles:
When I remember to set the DVR (for some reason, I don't want to set it as a series to automatically record), I love to record Dateline on Friday nights and watch it at some point in the weekend. Preferably to watch while vegging out and nursing a hangover. It's better than watching live because you can fast forward…
I skimmed this, curious how/where this one ends. Does it end at the end of the book? With the next movie made up entirely of bridging these films to the original LOTR trilogy?
I'll defend Temple of Doom till I'm blue in the face. TOD is such a ballsy follow-up to Raiders because it doesn't walk through the same paces. It goes out of its way to be completely original, whereas Crusade tries very hard to recapture Raiders.
I loved the book when I was younger. Loathed the miniseries and am surprised at the love it received. It's been years since I saw it but I still remember one of the things that pissed me off. "Nick Andros" is a deaf-mute character. In the book, he's firmly established as such, but then he has these dreams wherein…
I've been watching rebroadcasts of Malcolm in the Middle on IFC since the Breaking Bad ended. There's a certain charm to it. Cranston is very broad and mugs a lot, but he's playing a uxorious clown which is interesting in its own way. And there are some really fascinating episodes like "If Boys Were Girls" and…
His expression says, "I've made a huge mistake."
I can't wait to see what Dana and her perennially furrowed brow are sulking about next season! Maybe she'll have a new boyfriend and they'll *accidentally* kill a drifter? Spin-off option — "Dana Brody: Accidental Serial Killer". Puberty sucks, doesn't it?
Along those lines, the part where he sings,
I'm quite fond of "Why Not Smile" off of UP. It is a gentle and consoling number that I listen to whenever I am devastated by life.
Not a faux hawk, it was an actual mohawk. Just looked goofy as all getout.
