I’ve seen that a lot. Grew up with a lot of Indian Trinis who didnt do such things but could easily point to friends and family who did.

Well shit.

“Here is a map of the South according to the US Census Bureau. I can tell you as a southener from NC we do not consider Indiana part of the south but I guess it comes down to how you look at it:”

“The Mason-Dixon line isn’t the border, the cultural border is further south somewhere below NoVa.”

You MUST be kin that fool family.

Nah.

I knew last Friday when the BBC said her reaction was “Get over it” that she wasn’t shit.

“The inherent power imbalance?”

I’m not nearly gonna call “The Wire” the greatest show ever. It had good things about it but it was seriously flawed and most folks I know in Bmore don’t appreciate it. “Homicide” was a better written show imo. The cast and characters in the “The Wire” were top notch. Seasons were serious up and down though and slow

Not gonna touch the lightskin thing. Nope. Too stupid.

Take your damn star!

“Well, maybe he can coerce sex from his subordinates at the religious network, how nice for him.”

“He’s no doubt got a massive heart attack brewing. His eating habits and no exercise have guaranteed that, and his stress levels are thru the roof now that he does nothing but watch TV and scream at people.”

“I suspect he was high or just a moron  Mormon.”

With Colorado so close you would think teens might hop a Greyhound and beg someone to sell them small amounts once they get there.

“Yes to your last line. I fucking HATE people who want to sit back and “blow up the system” because it generally means they know they’re going to be OK and fuck the poor slobs on the bottom who will suffer the most. There’s nothing “progressive” about that.”

I only found out about a month ago. Someone on my twitter feed was destroyer her with obscenities so I checked her feed.

LOL...I watched about 3 episodes of that show and stopped. Something about it really rubbed me the wrong way.

I’ve been saying that “Black Mirror” is the ONLY heir to “The Twilight Zone” worth a damn.
