I’m cautiously optimistic. Watchmen is far better suited to a TV series format; you can’t possibly fit all in the space of an average movie. Mind you, the Snyder adaptation had other problems: most of them can be filed under “The Book, Missing the Point of”.

I miss being able to edit: *wiser, more worldly, ...

Plaintiffs gonna plaint, plaint, plaint.

How was a horse brother and sister bitching about honeydew together the best scene on television this year? Bojack’s slow smile at the end was a new way to end the season, but goddamn if it didn’t feel earned.

The Belle room was her personal fantasy, dating back to her troubled childhood. What Mr. Peanutbutter gave her was his interpretation of it. While it was not how he intended the gesture, he essentially took a dream that she cherished and shattered it.

Alright, I’ve been dying to bring this up here since I spent way too long researching this yesterday after my rewatch of the series.

FWIW, you can install the Firefox version of Kinjamprove on mobile Firefox, at least on Android (plus you can put an ad blocker on there, rendering the mobile web halfway usable again).

There’s some sorting functions on the way! I don’t have an ETA yet, but I know folks are working on it.

Thanks for the updates, Sean. I applaud the efforts.

There is now Kinjamprove for Firefox:

Would be nice if we were able to block some of the arseholes who have flooded the site since kinja arrived. All we have at the moment is the very inadequate flagging system.

Nested. Comments.

Shoot! Only recently got into Killjoys and hoped Hannah John-Kamen was going to be the new raider of tombs... I guess she’s in there somwhere tho...

In other animated news relating to the Emmys, Samurai Jack and Wander Over Yonder also won Emmys for Outstanding Achievement in Animation!

Stan Lee used to post sometimes, too. I miss that. But not as much as I miss The Riddler from the BTAS comments.

Your aboveground morals don’t hold sway. Down below there is only the fire.

I work in Motion Graphics here in Los Angeles, so I have a front row seat to what’s happening in terms of title sequence production. My friend just made this great title sequence for an TNT show, great illustrations, great design, really fun animation, and after the title sequence was produced the network decided to
