Dear Fellows,

I don’t really find the dialogue to be anymore standard then an average Disney animated film from that same period. In fact I wouldn’t call it super childish, just fair dialogue with “family / kids jokes” thrown-in for good measure.

I, for one, welcome our young, socially conscientious new overlords.

No worries, my brain shuts down at the possibility of puppies too

The Saul Bass-inspired lyric video, while visually kinda cool, just shows how laughably terrible these lyrics are. Not good, T.S. 1989, not good.

can we bring back the dissolve ?

What an utterly wretched publication this once illustrious news-paper has become! I am quite of the mind that the entire lot of your are liars and charlatans.

Bleh. It starts off sounding like a mediocre copy of a Halsey song, then actually starts to build up a bit to something - and immediately loses all of that with a bad chorus that robs the song of momentum. I tried listening to it three times to see if it improved, and it didn’t.

Yeah, you can rescue posts from the greys, but that’s not the same as ungreying posters.

Maybe it’s just me but it seems like there should be a better method of verifying/allowing (honestly i’m not even sure what the purpose is of the “grays”)than just having one guy go through them all individually and allowing them. but again, that’s just me.

Now the AV Club is spoiling Defenders for me (I’ve only watched the first episode so far...loser that I am). In

Two questions:

Kinja doesn’t get better, they just make annoying changes every year or two until you falsely recall liking earlier iterations of it.

(But also forgot to make sure the commenting worked)

Maybe disallow posting of pictures? Just a crazy thought.

I noticed that if you press the “Kinjamprove!” button, it folds in all the pending comments as well and doesn’t banish anyone to the greys. This thing is great!

I don’t know what it is about this character design, but like most European animation I just find it unsettling, but not in a purposeful way. Rick & Morty has truly ugly characters, with their squiggley eyes and drooping mouths, but that’s in service to its worldview, Coraline has oddly proportioned characters, whose
