Ya I been into HD’s for years , had a 68 XLH with electric start removed and with a mag, the xr your talking about while it looked similar to a XR750 and shared the same heads that's where the similarities ended. NOt the same bike at all.

The XR750 was never sold to public it is a racing bike in which you use to require being a plate holder in a racing association to purchase one.

They have a power band that is fairly useful and the design has been Improved over and over so what if it's not 150 Hp,

The HD does have one of the most useful power bands for most riding, sure it's a antiquated design but it is honed to a fairly reliable bike.
