Good news about True Colors then, it’s being made by Deck 9, not DontNod. So, hopefully they are still taping into that original recipe LiS. I feel like i’ve read they will be in charge of the franchise going forward, and not Don’t Nod.

Can someone who intends to play the new LiS come back to this comment please, and let me know if it’s good like the first one, or heavy handed misery porn like the second one?
I’ve never understood why Sony and Nintendo are just so anti-consumer friendly, and seem to just make everything more difficult than it needs to be.
The sad irony was that during the current gen, PS4 was touted as the consumer friendly option after Xbox bungled its launch so badly with so many anti-consumer policies right out of the gate.

While I do understand the feeling completely, I think it fades away. The latest season has players returning to the Dreaming City for good for the first time in a while, and it felt a bit like returning to an old love. I was like a child, I forgot how gorgeous the place was, before I got tired of it.
Yeah, the problem with Europa is that, for lack of a better term, they make you go all-in on Europa. Patrols and bounties require just... More. Killing more enemies or collecting more resources. Or killing them in places where they don’t spawn often. Or with weapons that are inconvenient. It takes longer to accomplish…
Didn’t it turn out that the “10-year plan” was just Bungie’s 10-year agreement they signed with Activision? It was never actually related to the development of Destiny.
Don’t include me in that “we”, I’m good
The Warframe devs got asked that same question recently. Their answer was that it’s pretty much impossible to increase the percentage of people that once they start, they stay on. It either clicks with someone or it doesn’t and there isn’t really any in-between. They reworked the entire opening segment of their game…
As much as I love the state that Destiny is in today, I just hope they can find a way to fix the “vibe” of the game by the time The Final Shape comes around. Since at least The Taken King, Destiny’s atmosphere has consistently been this overwhelming sense of dread. It abated a bit with Rise of Iron, Age of Triumph,…
Thats a very fair point and did not mean to discount that gap, I was referring to raids mainly in that comment. There is a point where skill applies and takes you to the next level, and yes skill is def required for the solo content no matter what. What I meant was knowing what load outs to have and where to position…
“during the pandemic was the last time I really even tried to engage with it”
DSC was a handout, but VoG came back to prove that you still needed skill, which in Destiny means comprehension and communication. Almost nothing is actual skill, it’s just knowing what to do in the encounter and communicating. Communication is the biggest barrier for people doing high end content, all of it is…
Yea that 4% seemed a little high to me too, a look on the weekend might give better insight, but I def agree on the way its made to be seen based off what is heard or covered in topics all the time. As for the majority middle group, I do wish theyd add more to the middle game in the form of story content and I’ve been…
I don’t. I’m strictly a PvE guy, who will occassionaly dip into some PvP. But I’ve got the most of this game just doing strikes or following the quest.
I don’t need to get everything in the game; I fine that’s the biggest issue some people can’t get over--that every weapon should be accessible and available to them. …
From what I remember, the launch of Deepstone Crypt apparently had the highest first week participation and clears of any raid in the game’s history and this was a result of purposeful moves made by Bungie to make raiding feel a little less intimidating and more accessible for non-seasoned players, which led to a…
It’s youre lucky day
With the exception of raids and grandmasters and maybe competitive PvP, your loadouts do not matter. Chasing godrolls is pointless because next season that archetype can be reworked rendering the stats meaningless.
8 is much more of a traditional JRPG and it’s expirements still fit in the mold. FF13 was a bigger departure. No over world, few side quests, very fast moving narrative, a battle system focusing on speed and staggering, etc.
