This is exactly what I said when I heard about the nomination - or lack thereof. Such a horrible decision.

@devwild: You've got to support Powells over Borders! Powells is pure awesomeness. You can get such good deals on used books, and there usually isn't that much of a wait for new releases to show up used.

@douglastterry: Its only between 80-100 dollars. $80 case + $20 for carbon fiber back panel.

I don't think I'll ever not want a physical copy of a book. With a real cover, and real pages. I just can't get behind ebooks, or whatever they're called. I don't know why.

@jabber: All the hip, trendy places around here (Portland) charge more for coffee than Starbucks does. And they can do that thanks to Starbucks. Just a way for the indy stores to look cool, I guess.
