Really? Considering there are no black characters on Girls, I'd say TWD is doing pretty well: Michonne, Noah, Sasha, and the minister are all still alive at this point.

Well, thanks at least for exploding the stereotype that only guys like this show, which I've always disagreed with.
Well, you watch it. I could understand your confusion if you'd given up on it three seasons back or something, but you yourself still tune in.
I can't believe they'd ever kill Glenn.
"She's too much an actual American, even if she is liberal."
Raylan has a daughter.
Actually Downton went downhill in season two, the Great War episodes. When "paralyzed" Matthew arose from the wheelchair it was just too much. I think creator Julian Fellowes just had one decent year in him.
It wasn't geared to teach anything to boys. In fact, the young women at the beginning of the commercial made fun of girls as well. It's purpose is to get adults to think about what it is that our culture does to adolescent girls. It demeans them and makes them doubt their own abilities as they get older.
Lassie. Just in case I ever fall into a well.
Actually I did feel sorry for the guys on the sub, who, like most members of the lower military ranks, are pawns in the hands of their so-called superiors. A lot of servicemen on both sides ended up dead because of all the Cold War machinations of the U.S. and Russia.
They got feisty with the wrong guy.
Agreed. I love Ava, but that whole prison story veered between boring and just plain depressing.
A "B"as a grade? No way. This episode was vintage stuff and reminded me of why I love Justify, it was the perfect blend of drama, suspense, and humor.
Has anyone yet mentioned the humor of the final scene: Hannah in the carriage with the Mennonite—who puts his arm around her? That moment alone turned my B into a B+ for this episode.
I just binge-watched the second season of The Fall, which is very easy to do—and it was even better than the incredible first season. If you're going to be snowed in, I highly recommend this series. It's compelling, highly-literate TV, and Gillian Anderson gives a great performance; in fact, the whole cast does,…
First of all, it cannot be easy to make every character a fully realized human being when you only have ten 30-minute episodes to do so. In fact, each season of Girls is only five hours long, and attention must be paid to the main characters' story lines. Actually, I remember her magazine co-workers quite well even…
That's a very funny sentence.
I liked this episode. Hannah had to see just what her decision is actually going to mean in terms of how it will change her life. Is it wrong for Dunham to mine the comic possibilities?
Kramer finding the Merv Griffin Show set.
This episode reminded me of one of my favorite flash mobs. It takes place in a public Square in Spain. Musicians play Beethoven's Ode to Joy. It's wonderful to watch the reaction of the people who gather, particularly the kids, who can't help but react to the beauty of the music.
