My God, this show is so much more interesting, engaging, and just plain fun than the pretentious, predictable, and cliche-ridden Transparent, which has snowed under the current generation of critics with its boring earnestness. I'd rather drink the fizzy champagne of MITZJ than the celery juice of Transparent any day.

Definitely a men-hate-women comment.

Your name says it all. According to my sister most men hate funny women.

No, you're not.

Rectify came in at only #12? Ridiculous. Transparent, Orange is the New Black, and Hannibal aren't terrible, but they all rely on gimmicks for their drama.

Yeah, it took a whole 14 seconds to type it into Google and get the correct spelling on TWD Wiki.

Let me guess, you were never your teachers' favorite, Bradley.

She says she believes in the political, social, and economic equality of women, which is the traditional, classic explanation of feminism, or as Susan B. Anthony said when asked what her definition was: "Men their rights and nothing more, women their rights and nothing less."

I've been converted to being a fan through the female students in my social studies classes. First because I found her songs rather irresistibly catchy and then because they told me that she had declared herself a feminist so they all decided they are now feminists too. Do many people in the South watch The Good Wife, I wonder? Or is it just too blue state for them? It's hard to picture a NASCAR dad and his Paula-Deen-loving wife appreciating this show.

She was actually much less of a caricature in the first season when the show was still really funny. The same is true of Manny, who was once endearing and then became insufferable.

I didn't make it through half the first season of Revenge, but I really enjoyed season two of Orphan Black very much.

Maybe someone else has said this down the thread, but I think the first season of Downton Abbey was very good, but it went downhill rapidly in season two.

I recall it as "Candygram."

I forgot how much I enjoyed The Bad News Bears until I saw the clip. That was one of the best movies of the of the 70's. I'd really like to show it to my seventh graders, but it wouldn't be approved because of the swearing, unfortunately. I'd bet they'd love it.

That wasn't my impression. That hospital seemed much smaller, in fact very small town.

Am I the only one who wouldn't think it was so bad to take a break from constantly having to escape from creatures who wanted to devour me—even if it meant eating guinea pig (which I tried once in Peru to be polite) and living with self-important weenies.

Sure you could.

I'm glad to see less Grace hate here than usual. I think the mother-daughter relationship between Grace and Alicia is so much more interesting than your typical rebellious teen (I hate you. Now take me to the mall) vs. mom scenario.

I understand the way the drama was constructed to lead to the retribution Nucky had to face for his decision to hand over the young Gillian to the Commodore, which set into motion the chain of events that led eventually to his murder of Jimmy and how Gillian reacted to it.
